Activités d'élaboration de normes et de contenus de formations professionnelles dans le champ aéronautique : rôle de l'hétérogénéité des décideurs, du sens du travail et des dynamiques de délibérations collectives / Norms and training contents elaboration process in the aeronautic sector : role of actors’ heterogeneity, of meaning of work and of collective deliberations dynamics

Piques, Marie 20 December 2013 (has links)
In the current context of evolution and transformation of work, our research attempts to understand and explain how professional actors (individual and collective), engaged in the definition of policies and practices of aeronautic vocational trainings, come to an agreement, collectively, on standards and contents of training programs. This research confronts processes of collective deliberations of two professional groups (one of national size and the other of local size) which have to define new programs and norms concerning qualifying technical trainings. Members of these groups (27 and 20 subjects) represent companies, trainers or managers of technical schools (private or public), competent ministries, individual figures recognized in the aeronautic field. At a methodological level, in a comprehensive exploratory approach, we have systematically observed and analyzed meetings of these two groups during one year as well as the speeches that come out from meetings. We made and analyzed semi-structured interviews and questionnaires we had built. In a systemic, active and plural approach of socialization, the interstructuration model of subject and institutions we refer to (Baubion-Broye & Haijar, 1998), considers that subject builds his activities all along his life and in interaction with other people. Our results show, on one hand that, generally, decision-makers arrive on a conclusion and a decision thanks to “apparent consensus”. On the other hand our study proves there is a link between the evident expression of coalitions and the consensus degree. Interpersonal relations change over time.

Löfgren, Jesper, Bergman, Michaela January 2015 (has links)
Crowdsourcing and the sharing economy are essential models for open innovation when facing the challenges of tomorrow. Dealing with global problems require global cooperation and common responsibility, where the sharing economy may become crucial. In this quantitative study we examine how the adoption and decision-making process occurs when we let 50 students take part in a collaborative service innovation. We look at some already existing collaborative innovations, explain relevant concepts and show how Diffusion of innovations can be used to understand something as complex as adoption and diffusion of service innovations in social systems. Furthermore, we show how the framework for conceptualization of crowdsourcing can be used to understand how the environmental aspect and the willingness to cooperate can drive a crowd to share skills, resources and knowledge. Conclusions are presented and a contribution to help crowdsourcing ventures and collaborative networks is highlighted to understand individual adoption and the preconditions that affects their decision-making.

The non-journalistic career decision-making process of journalism graduates in Taiwan

Pan, Nai Hsin Unknown Date (has links)

La prise de décision au sein de la Banque centrale européenne : l'enjeu de la transparence face à l'hétérogénéité de l'Eurozone / The decision-making process in the European Central Bank : the issue of transparency with the heterogeneity of the Eurozone

Buf, Audrey 29 November 2013 (has links)
The lack of transparency of the European Central Bank (ECB), as well as the heterogeneity among European member states have generates many debates about the effectiveness of the decision-making process within the ECB’s governing council. Such a context creates uncertainties about the distribution of power inside the governing council. The purpose of this thesis is to analyse to what extent the decision-making process within the council responds to such lack of transparency. In the first part, we focus on the effect of the regional bias on monetary policy decisions. Our analysis shows that persistent heterogeneities among members generate uncertainties with regard to the effectiveness of the ECB’s monetary governance. In the second part, we analyse the ability of the governing council to generate strategic interactions among its members, and we focus in particular on coalitions formation. Our analysis based on voting power demonstrates that board members have only a weak impact on the decision-making process. Our thesis focuses on the inadequacies of the current ECB’s decision-making framework and on its necessary reform.

China’s environmental protection policies and path dependent analysis: in the case of Beijing air pollution control

Chen, Ping-Cheng Unknown Date (has links)
In the past decade, countries and organizations around the globe have devoted themselves to brought out the important message of sustainable development. Climate change and environmental protection have been two of the core issues to be considered into state’s foreign policy. China has been facing the environmental issues in recent years. In this thesis, it argues that China’s awareness of sustainable development and environmental protection, especially on air pollution problem in Beijing, was gradually flourished as time went by. From ignoring environmental problem and devoting effort on one-sided economic development to positively face and try to solve the air pollution problem, China has gone through its decision-making and mindsets reform. Furthermore, this thesis suggests that the progress of it corresponds with a certainly path. Hence, path dependent analysis would be applied to test whether this kind of path fits air pollution control methods in China and possibly foresee the environmental future of Beijing to be a cleaner and healthier city.

Modéliser l'insertion territoriale du Miscanthus x giganteus à partir des décisions des agriculteurs : une approche exploitant le modèle du raisonnement à partir de cas / Modelling miscanthus allocation in farmland based on farmers’ decisions : a framework using the case-based reasoning model

Martin, Laura 01 December 2014 (has links)
Even if miscanthus is not so heavily produced nowadays, this crop would be of great interest for energy use. However, the allocation of miscanthus could produce a sustainable reorganization of the landscape. Therefore, many studies aim to model the land use change caused by miscanthus, in order to identify sustainable supply areas: our research belongs to this field. In our research, we propose a new framework for modeling decision-making process of farmers, relying on scaling out. More accurately, we propose to use the case-based reasoning model which solves problems based on an analogical reasoning. Then our research is structured: (i) by a knowledge acquisition step about decision-making process of farmers, based on farm surveys, conducted in the Côte d'Or department (Burgundy region) and (ii) by the design and evaluation of an ad hoc prototype of case-based reasoning. On the one hand, results of knowledge acquisition phase show that miscanthus allocation process is complex, more accurately, that miscanthus allocation process is closely related to land constraints, particularly in terms of logistic and environmental preservation of plots. These results lead us to discuss the selection of biophysical and human variables included to the current spatially explicit models. On the other hand, the design and evaluation phase of our prototype shows that case-based reasoning is particularly well suited to model a contextual phenomenon. These results lead us to discuss the modalities for implementing the prototype in other production areas of miscanthus

Business Intelligence – its impact on the decision-making process at higher education institutions : A case study at Karlstad University / Business Intelligence – dess påverkan på beslutsprocessen vid högskolor : En fallstudie på Karlstads Universitet

Persson, Jacob, Sjöö, Erik January 2017 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is to understand how Business Intelligence (BI) influences the decision-making process (DMP) at higher education institutions (HEIs). Furthermore, this study aims to identify success factors of BI adoption (gathered from previous research) that are difficult for HEIs to fulfill. The study applied a qualitative research strategy and was conducted as a single case study at Karlstad University (KaU), a Swedish public HEI with approximately 16 000 enrolled undergraduate students and 1 200 employees. Regarding the data collection process, empirical data was collected through eight semi-structured interviews, all held with users of KaU’s BI tool. The thesis’ findings show that BI affects the DMP at HEIs by increasing the quality of information, reducing time, and increasing the efficiency for the user. The findings also show that for a HEI, most key components that increase an organization’s chance of a successful BI implementation are difficult to fulfill completely. Three components were identified to be in greater need of improvement than the rest: management & leadership commitment, culture around use of information and analytics, and requisite resources.

Volba lokality plaveckého bazénu v obci Písek / The Choice of a Swimming Pool Location in the City of Písek

Bártíková, Tereza January 2013 (has links)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to solve a particular problem via methods and instruments of multi-criteria decision-making under risk -- the choice of a suitable location of a swimming pool in the city of Písek. Every single phase of the decision-making process is described in the theoretical part of the thesis and followed in the practical part. The process was divided into stages: the problem specification, setting objectives, determination of the importance of the criteria, generation of alternatives and identification of their consequences, determination the significance of the risk factors, the probability of their occurrence, setting the impacts of the risk alternatives, evaluation of the alternatives and the choice of the most desirable one, potential threats and opportunities analysis. The theoretical part consists of a review of methods suitable for the given phase. More in-detail focus is put on the methods used in the practical part. To sum up, the diploma thesis provide the reader with the recommendation of the most appropriate location for the construction of the swimming pool. Additionally, it identifies the most important threats and opportunities related to this preference.

Rodí se během krize více dětí? Příklad Spojených států amerických / Are more children being born during economic recessions? The example of the United States of America

Mihalko, Jan January 2013 (has links)
The thesis focuses on the issue of individuals' preferences regarding the acquisition of a child during the business cycle expressed in unemployment rates for men and women. Fixed effects model involving robust estimates of standard deviations on a panel dataset tested for the period 1980-2012 confirmed the significance of the relationship between sex-specific unemployment rates and fertility rate of the United States of America. The results of the analysis show a negative relationship documenting pro-cyclical nature of the fertility. There is a less willingness of couples to conceive a child with the growth in unemployment. It does not show the prevalence of substitution effect of reducing opprtunity costs for women during the recession over the effect of reduction in income. Among other statistically significant variables that affect fertility belong the degree of attainment of university education, the poverty rate and abortion rate.
