Bland tiggare & barfotabarn : 19 intervjuer med lyrikläsare i Borås / 19 interviews of poetry readers at the public library in Borås

Åström, Anna January 1996 (has links)
The objective of this entire essay, founded on nineteen interviews of poetry readers at thepublic library in Borås, is to ascertain why people do read poetry. But in addition to examinewhat sort of people who enjoy poetry, as well as what they appear to get out of their exercise.I have also put together the position of the poetry reader as a customer of the library. The summary of contents is primarily based on direct quotations of the interviews, and doesnot reflect any generally applicable facts about poetry readers. I am only trying to focus on thethoughts and sentiments on poetry experienced by a few randomly selected individuals. DanAndersson, Karin Boye, Nils Ferlin and Gustaf Fröding were stated as favourites by many. The only thing in common subsequently found by those interviewed was a great affection forliterature and a diligent usage of the library.

Säker, Anja January 2008 (has links)

Ivarsson, Elisabeth January 2010 (has links)

The aim of this study is to examine if library and archive will meet professionally in digitization projects. The study has been conducted as a discourse analysis in accordance with the methods of Norman Fairclough, professor of Linguistics at Lancaster University. The texts are seen as linguistic and semiotic elements of social events that can be analyzed as parts of the social process – discourse. The relationship between events and structures in society will be part of the social practice. The basic data derive from five public documents collected from Swedish government agencies. The mutual subject is developing a national strategy for digitization and to contribute to the European digital library, Europeana, funded by the European Commission. The research question is: When digitizing the Swedish cultural heritage as a project of institutional cooperation, which discourses can be identified? Which will be regarded as a matter of course and which will be excluded? The conclusion is that the profession of library were the most frequent discourse in the analyzed texts. Another important factor is whether the information is born digital or if it is physical artifacts that has been digitized. The Swedish National Archives have stated detailed regulations of creating and transferring official documents as electronic records which differ from the National library proposed regulation for legal deposit of electronic documents. For the library profession, the focus is on classification, searching and access. For the archive, the focus is to secure that the records has not been modified or corrupted for sustainable authenticity over time.In the social practice it can be established that the public institutions – libraries, museums, archives – will meet concurrence on the Internet from new entrepreneurs like Google, Genline and Creative Commons.

A study of teachers´ and librarians´ perspectives of the role of the school library in education

Andersson, Kajsa, Dunsäter, Torleif January 2009 (has links)

/
The purpose of this paper has been to study teachers´ and librarians´ perspectives of the role of the school library in education in secondary schools. The study is based upon interviews with teachers and librarians from two different schools. We are inspired by phenomenography but we use a descriptive method and the following four parts are described in our result: the use of the school library, investigative approaches, the role of the school library and its environment and the role of the librarian. The conclusions which are evident from our research suggest the library has a fundamental role in the heart of the school. The school library is a multi-functional service used to support school studies, independent work and promote and encourage the reading of fiction. Essential to making the school library function well is professional staff, inspiring new literature and sufficient space to allow such functions to operate without disturbing each other. To ensure co-operation functions optimally the two professions must work effectively together as one team, understanding each other’s roles fully.
