Residencia universitaria en Lima Este / Students housing in east Lima

El proyecto consiste en una tipología muy escasa en la ciudad de Lima: una residencia universitaria. Esta se plantea con un modelo administrativo similar al de un hotel y se ubica en una zona con alta concentración de universidades. El propósito es albergar estudiantes (de Lima tanto como de provincias y extranjeros) que no cuenten con facilidades de vivienda en las cercanías de estas universidades, y proporcionarles todo el equipamiento necesario, además de los dormitorios. Este se concibe en base a una serie de criterios que tienen todos algo en común: la búsqueda en generar, por medio del diseño, la integración adecuada del usuario, quienes comparten actividades y características similares. Con la premisa de que las conductas humanas son influenciadas por los espacios en que ocurren, se busca crear espacios mixtos y de uso colectivo, presentes alrededor de todo el proyecto, con la idea de promover encuentros en actividades académicas, junto con actividades de ocio, ocurriendo simultáneamente, sin perjudicar el bienestar y el descanso en privado. Esto promueve la interacción entre el usuario, creando así una vida diaria en comunidad. El diseño se trabajará en base a estos conceptos, y debe ser adaptado a un usuario con unas circunstancias sociales y económicas específicas que van a determinar varios aspectos del proyecto (tanto del diseño como del programa). Pensado de esa manera, el proyecto va a diferenciarse de los modelos referenciales por los que fue influenciado, ya que será el resultado de su contexto. / The project consists of a very rare typology in the city of Lima: a university residence. This is proposed with an administrative model similar to that of a hotel and is located in an area with a high concentration of universities. The purpose is to house students (from Lima as well as from provinces and foreigners) who do not have housing facilities in the vicinity of these universities, and provide them with all the necessary equipment, in addition to the dormitories. This is conceived based on a series of criteria that all have something in common: the search to generate, through design, the appropriate integration of the user, who sharesimilar activities and characteristics. With the premise that human behaviors are influenced by the spaces in which they occur, it seeks to create mixed and collective use spaces, present around the entire project, with the idea of promoting meetings in academic activities, along with leisure activities, occurring simultaneously, without harming well-being and rest in private. This promotes interaction between the user, thus creating a daily life in community. The design will work based on these concepts, and should be adapted to a user with specific social and economic circumstances that will determine various aspects of the project (both the design and the program). Thought that way, the project will be differentiated from the referential models by which it was influenced, since it will be the result of its context. / Tesis

Un hospital Oncológico pediátrico es un Establecimiento de salud de III grado de complejidad, MINSA (2011) Está definido por un programa arquitectónico y servicios que brinda el proyecto: prevención, información y tratamiento de tipos de cáncer que padecen niños de 0 a 14 años. El propósito de este tema fue de evidenciar la necesidad de contar con un hospital oncológico pediátrico en la capital, para tratar correctamente a los niños que padecen enfermedades oncológicas; ya que en la actualidad no se cuentan con espacios adecuados para el tratamiento oportuno de estos usuarios, lo que ocasiona una tasa de mortalidad alta, a pesar de ser el grupo con mayor tasa de recuperación dentro de estas enfermedades. Mediante el uso de cromoterapia, que es la sanación física y mental mediante el uso de color, se quiere aportar un elemento adicional al diseño arquitectónico del proyecto, que se refleje en cada espacio, como la quimioterapia. Este énfasis ha sido probado con efectividad en diferentes hospitales similares en todo el mundo. Los cuales se detallan en este documento; son: Hospital Infantil de la Teletón - Querétaro, México; Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital - Brisbane, Australia; centro Buerguer para Cuidados Intensivos - Filadelfia, Estados Unidos; Nemours Children’s Hospital - Orlando, Estados Unidos; y el Evelina Children’s Hospital - Londres, Inglaterra. El proyecto de tesis se rige bajo los parámetros del Ministerio de Salud en cuanto a programa arquitectónico y dimensiones de cada ambiente. Contando con áreas lúdicas y espacios de encuentro como eje principal de diseño. / A pediatric cancer hospital is a health facility of III degree of complexity, MINSA (2011) It is defined by an architectural program and services provided by the project: prevention, information and treatment of cancers suffered by children from 0 to 14 years old. The purpose of this topic was to demonstrate the need to have a pediatric cancer hospital in the capital, to correctly treat children suffering from cancer diseases; since at present there are no adequate spaces for the timely treatment of these users, which causes a high mortality rate, despite being the group with the highest recovery rate within these diseases. "En genuin resonans" : En kvalitativ studie av psykodynamiska psykoterapeuters upplevelser av Mötesögonblick i terapirummet / " A gunuine resonance" : A qualitative study of psychodynamic psychotherapists experiences of Moments of Meeting in the therapy room

Inledning: Det finns ett speciellt intresse i psykoterapi för unika, potentiellt transformerande ögonblick, till exempel ögonblick av ömsesidig öppenhet som berör på djupet. Studiens syfte var att utforska psykodynamiska psykoterapeuters förståelse och kliniska upplevelse av mötesögonblick. Frågeställningar: Vad är terapeutens förståelse av fenomenet mötesögonblick? Vad är terapeutens upplevelse av själva mötesögonblicket, av patienten i ett sådant ögonblick, samt av det som sker i den terapeutiska processen efteråt? Metod: Sex psykodynamiska psykoterapeuter intervjuades genom semistrukturerad kvalitativ intervju. Intervjuarna analyserades med tematisk analys. Resultat: Mötesögonblick uppfattades som en form av delad upplevelse. Den kliniska upplevelsen beskrevs som en ömsesidig spegling av psykofysiologiska tillstånd. Receptivitet sågs som nyckeln i bemötandet av patienten. Patienterna släppte sina försvar i mötesögonblick, men varsamhet uttrycktes kring dessa ögonblick i arbetet med patienter med svårare problematik. Det fanns olika synpunkter i relation till konsolidering av mötesögonblick efter deras uppstående. Diskussion: Resultatet diskuteras utifrån terapeuternas förståelse och kliniska upplevelse av mötesögonblick. Betydelsefulla faktorer i deras upplevelser diskuteras i förhållande till teoretiska begrepp och tidigare forskning. Tankar om metoden diskuteras, samt förslag för vidare forskning. / Introduction: There exists a special interest in psychotherapy for unique, potentially transformative moments, for example, deeply touching moments of mutual openness. The purpose of the study was to explore psychodynamic psychotherapists` understanding and clinical experience of moments of meeting. Issues: What is the therapist`s understanding of the phenomena moments of meeting? What is the therapist`s experience of the actual moment of meeting, of the patient in such a moment, and of what happens in the therapeutic process afterwards? Method: Six psychodynamic psychotherapists were interviewed through semi-structured qualitative interview. The interviews were analyzed with thematic analysis. Result: Moments of meeting were understood as a form of shared experience. The clinical experience was described as a mutual mirroring of psychophysiological states. Receptiveness was considered key in relation to encountering the patient. Patients let go of defenses in moments of meeting. Caution was expressed around these moments in work with patients with more difficult problems. There were differing opinions in relation to consolidation of moments of meeting after their occurrence. Discussion: The result is discussed in view of the therapists` subjective understanding and clinical experience of moments of meeting. Meaningful factors in their experience are discussed in relation to theoretical concepts and previous research. Thoughts in relation to the methodology are taken up, plus suggestions for future research.

Upplevelse av bedömningssamtal hos gravida inför internetbaserad kognitiv beteendeterapi : Har valmöjlighet och besöksmodalitet betydelse? / Experience of assessment interview in pregnant women before internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy : Do the possibility of choice and visiting modality matter?

Depression förekommer under 10% av alla graviditeter och medför risker för både den gravida och barnet. Syfte: Studien IKBT för gravida med depression syftar till att bekräfta tidigare studiers resultat av IKBT-behandling samt utvärdera olika besöksmodaliteter, telefonsamtal, videosamtal eller fysiskt besök, för bedömningssamtalet.  Metod: 26 gravida (graviditetsvecka 8–30 vid antagning) med samtidig egentlig depression randomiserades till antingen eget val av besöksmodalitet eller randomiserades till en viss besöksmodalitet för sitt bedömningssamtal. Efteråt tillfrågades deltagarna om sina upplevelser av bedömningssamtalet avseende innehåll, modalitet samt hur Covid-19 pandemin påverkade deras inställning. Resultat: Det förelåg ingen statistisk signifikant skillnad mellan hur de tre besöksmodalitetsgrupperna eller mellan de som fick välja gentemot de som blev tilldelade en besöksmodalitet upplevde bedömningssamtalet. Kvalitativa data pekar mot att deltagarna hade föredragit fysiskt besök men uppskattade andra möjligheter med anledning av Covid-19 pandemin. Slutsats: Deltagarna var generellt lika nöjda med sitt bedömningssamtal oavsett besöksmodalitet och om de själva hade fått välja besöksmodalitet eller ej. Att erbjuda olika besöksmodaliteter ökar tillgängligheten och möjliggör behandling med IKBT för gravida med depression från hela landet. För att validera resultatet krävs vidare forskning med större antal deltagare. / Depression is present during 10% of all pregnancies and leads to risk for both the pregnant and the baby. Objective: The study ICBT towards pregnant with depression aims to confirm earlier studies results of ICBT-treatment and to evaluate different visiting modalities, telephone call, video call or face to face meeting, of the assessment interview.  Method: 26 pregnant women (gestational week 8–30 at intake) currently suffering from major depressive disorder randomized to either free choice of visiting modality or randomized to a certain visiting modality of the assessment interview. Afterwards the participants were asked about their experience of the assessment interview regarding content, modality and how the Covid-19 pandemic affected their attitude. Results: There was no statistically significant difference between how the three visiting modality groups or between the ones who got to choose opposite the ones who was assigned a visiting modality regarding the experience of the assessment interview. Qualitative data indicates that the participants would have preferred a face to face meeting but appreciated other possibilities due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Conclusion: The participants was in general equally satisfied with their assessment interview regardless visiting modality or if they got to choose their visiting modality or not. To offer different visiting modalities increases the availability and enables treatment with ICBT towards pregnant with depression throughout the country. These results need to be replicated in larger trials to validate.

The study is thesis is the information design program with a spatial design focus. The study investigates which spatial elements can promote social community with other students at a university.The thesis has been using methods such as physical site analysis, semi-structured interviews, workshops and A/B Testing. These methods were applied in the study to investigate what needs the students have regarding social contexts and in what way a spatial meeting place could promote a social community among the students.In combination with collected data and theories, a design proposal has been developed. This is based on what the students at Mälardalen University in Västerås find important regarding social community. The design proposal exemplifies how the design of a physical meeting place on a campus can be designed with the aim of promoting social meetings between students and enabling an area that is not in need of, for example, the student union and its staff. / Studien är ett examensarbete inom programmet informationsdesign med inriktning rumslig gestaltning. Studien undersöker vilka rumsliga element som kan främja social gemenskap med andra studenter på ett universitet. Studien har genomförts med hjälp av metoder såsom fysisk platsanalys, semistrukturerade intervjuer, workshop och A/B Testing. Dessa metoder applicerades i studien för att undersöka vilka behov studenterna har gällande sociala sammanhang och på vilket sätt en rumslig mötesplats skulle kunna främja en gemenskap bland studenterna. I kombination av insamlade data och teorier har ett gestaltningsförslag tagits fram.Detta grundar sig i vad studenterna på Mälardalens universitet i Västerås finner viktigt gällande social gemenskap. Gestaltningsförslaget exemplifierar hur utformningen av en fysisk mötesplats på ett campusområde kan utformas i syfte att främja sociala möten mellan studenter samt möjliggöra en yta som inte drivs av exempelvis studentkåren och dess personal.

Bakgrund. Möten utgör en essentiell funktion för organisationer och är avgörande för genomförandet av arbete. Arbetstid spenderad i möten ökar och möten utgör en stor kostnad för företag. Till följd av covid-19 pandemins framfart har organisationer skiftat till att bedriva möten virtuellt. Denna övergång lyfter frågan huruvida övergången har påverkat hur möten bedrivs, samt hur deltagarna vid virtuella möten upplever effektiviteten.  Syfte. Föreliggande studie syftar till att undersöka hur övergången till virtuella möten har påverkat möjligheten att bedriva effektiva möten. Studien beaktar rutiner och strävar efter att explorativt undersöka den virtuella övergången och vilken effekt den har haft på mötesrutiner.  Metod. Studien är genomförd genom utförandet av intervjuer, observationer, samt granskning av dokument. Totalt genomfördes 11 intervjuer och 4 observationer. Insamlad empiri analyserades genom en innehållsanalys. Kategorier identifierades utifrån empiri där stycken från empirin blev inplacerade.  Resultat. Studiens resultat tyder på att övergången till virtuella möten kan påverkan möteseffektiviteten. Studien har uppmärksammat 16 kategorier som kan påverka möteseffektiviteten. Dessa är: antal deltagare, punktlighet, agenda, dialoger, miljö, förberedelser, prioritering, mötesmedium, förändring, känsla, relation, deltagande, inbjudan till möte, mötesledare, mötesprotokoll, och multitasking. Vidare noterar studien att rutiner i koppling till nämnda kategorier förändrats.  Slutsatser. Studien presenterar fyra övergripande slutsatser. En övergång till virtuella möten indikerar på att: tid spenderad i möten ökar; det blir upp till deltagarna själva att skapa optimala mötesförhållanden; fokus minskar hos mötesdeltagarna; lokala och globala relationer kan påverkas negativt respektive positivt. / Background. Meetings are an essential function of organizations and are crucial to the execution of work. Time spent in meetings is increasing and meetings represent a large cost for companies. As a result of the covid-19 pandemic, organizations have shifted to conducting meetings virtually. This transition raises the question of whether the transition has affected how meetings are conducted, as well as how participants in virtual meetings experience the effectiveness of meetings. Objectives. The study aims to investigate how the transition to virtual meetings has affected the ability to conduct effective meetings. The study pays attention to routines and strives to exploratively examine the virtual transition and what effect it has had on meeting routines.  Methods. The study is carried out through the execution of interviews, observations, and review of documents. A total of 11 interviews and 4 observations were conducted. Collected empirical evidence was analysed through a content analysis. Categories were identified based on empirical evidence, where pieces from the empirical evidence were fitted.  Results. The study's results indicate that the transition to virtual meetings can affect meeting efficiency. The study has drawn attention to 16 categories that can affect meeting efficiency. These are: number of participants, punctuality, agenda, dialogues, environment, preparation, prioritization, meeting medium, change, emotions, relationships, participation, invitation to meeting, meeting leader, meeting minutes, and multitasking. Furthermore, the study notes that routines in connection with the mentioned categories have changed.  Conclusions. The study presents four overall conclusions. A shift to virtual meetings indicates that: time spent in meetings increases; it is up to the participants themselves to create optimal meeting conditions; the focus of the meeting participants decreases; local and global relations can be affected negatively and positively respectively.

[pt] Neste estudo, investigo a relação família-escola no contexto da avaliação da aprendizagem – fonte de tensão, implícita ou explícita no domínio escolar – por meio da investigação de entendimentos acerca de experiências vividas no fazer docente e reelaboradas, pelos professores, de forma colaborativa na interação em três reuniões pedagógicas. Na reflexão, também considero as concepções e crenças emergentes na interação sobre o processo de ensino-aprendizagem e a avaliação. O cenário de pesquisa está centrado nas reuniões pedagógicas de professores de inglês como língua estrangeira no Ensino Infantil, Fundamental e Médio, grupo do qual faço parte, em uma escola de elite da rede privada de ensino do estado do Rio de Janeiro. Sob a luz de uma Linguística Aplicada indisciplinar, esta pesquisa de natureza qualitativa busca promover um diálogo entre as áreas dos estudos da linguagem e da educação, abordando a relação entre linguagem e sociedade. Para a análise, recorro à teoria do posicionamento em interface com postulados teóricos de estudos da narrativa. Pautando-me em pressupostos sobre a conarração, articulo elementos da narrativa conversacional a conceitos da narrativa laboviana. A sequencialidade e a interação são analisadas no cenário coletivo e partilhado pelos professores, com inserção de narrativas sobre o fazer docente, envolvendo pais de alunos e alunos, participantes não presenciais da reunião, trazidos para a interação por intermédio da narrativização de experiências vividas pelos professores no âmbito escolar. Os resultados revelam que os professores recorrem à narrativização de experiências da prática profissional para expressar percepções que são resignificadas à luz de novos entendimentos construídos na interação. A construção de entendimentos realiza-se em dois níveis discursivos: a conarração interacional e as narrativas encaixadas, e indica que o fazer docente dos participantes é alicerçado pelas experiências partilhadas na interação em reuniões pedagógicas. A análise dos posicionamentos de conarradores e personagens sugere a necessidade de reconfigurações na relação família-escola quanto à conscientização e ao cumprimento de responsabilidades de docentes, discentes e famílias acerca da avaliação, no sentido de evitar a transferência de responsabilidades e a culpabilização dos professores por resultados insatisfatórios no desempenho dos alunos. Os resultados fomentam a discussão a respeito da relação família-escola no contexto da avaliação da aprendizagem, pondo foco em cinco aspectos do processo de avaliação: i) o processo e suas etapas; ii) o resultado da avaliação; iii) o papel do professor no desenvolvimento do processo; iv) a responsabilidade e autonomia do aluno na construção do processo e no resultado da avaliação; v) a função da família no referido cenário. / [en] In this study, I investigate the family-school relationship in the context of learning assessment – an implicit or explicit source of tension in the school domain – by means of the construction of understandings about experiences lived by teachers in their pedagogical practices, and rebuilt collaboratively in on-going interaction in three pedagogical meetings. The research context is the pedagogical meetings of Elementary and High School teachers of English as a foreign language at a private elite school in the state of Rio de Janeiro. In light of a crtical Applied Linguistics, this qualitative research seeks to promote dialogue between the field of language studies and education, by addressing the relationship between language and society. In the investigation, I also consider the concepts and beliefs about the teaching-learning process and learning assessment that emerge in on-going interaction. For the analysis, I resort to positioning theory in interface with theoretical constructs from narrative studies. Subsidized by pressupositions about co-narration, I employ elements of Labovian narrative and concepts about conversational narrative. Sequentiality and interaction are analyzed in the context shared collectively by teachers, with the embedding of narratives related to their pedagogical practice, involving students and students parents, participants not present in the meetings, brought to interaction by narrativization of the teachers experiences in the school setting. Results reveal that teachers resort to narrativization of experiences from their pedagogical practice in order to express perceptions which are resignified in light of new understandings constructed in interaction. The construction of understandings takes place on two discourse levels: the interactional co-narration and the embedded narratives, and indicates that these teachers pedagogical practice is based on the experiences shared in interaction in pedagogical meetings. The positioning of co-narrators and characters in narrative and the construction of understandings suggest the need of reconfigurations in the family-school relationship regarding teachers, students and parents awareness and fulfillment of responsibilities about the learning assessment so as to avoid transfering responsibilities and blamimg teachers for the unsatisfactory results of students performances. The results foster a discussion about family-school relationship in the context of learning assessment by fousing on five aspects of the learning assessment process: i) the process and its different stages; ii) the assessment result; iii) the teacher’s role in the development of the process; iv) the student s responsibility and autonomy in the construction of the process and in the assessment result; v) the family function in the aforementioned context.

Högdalens bibliotek som mötesplats : En studie om trygghet med utgångspunkt i besökares och personals upplevelser / Högdalen library as a meeting place : A study of safety based on visitors’ and personnel’s experiences

Lack of safety is a problem in many public places in society, including libraries, where disturbances of order and crime are common problems. Perhaps, many people experience the library as a quiet and safe place, without quarrels, vandalism, violence, theft, or harassment, yet all these are recurring problems in libraries. This study is carried out to clarify factors that cause the lack of safety in libraries and to develop measures to counteract these factors. The survey is conducted as a case study of Högdalen library, where the purpose of the study is to understand how the environment at the library affects the safety of the place, based on the visitors' and personnel's safety experiences. In order to get answers to the study's main research question – that is, how visitors and personnel experience the safety at Högdalen library – a questionnaire survey was conducted, answered by 43 library visitors, as well as interviews with four people from the library's personnel. The study also includes an examination and a compilation of statistics from troublesome events that occurred at the library between the years 2017 and 2020 to further – together with the questionnaire survey and interviews – get answers to what problems are most common in the library today. The hope is that the questionnaire survey, the interviews, the statistics, and the study's theoretical and literature basis will provide answers to how crime prevention through environmental design can be used as a reference to improve safety at Högdalen library. The study is delimited and does not include any comparison between Högdalen library and other libraries concerning the safety experience. The results show that visitors and personnel have a positive image of the safety experience at Högdalen library. Most of the questionnaire respondents (83,7 %) have not experienced any situation that has developed the feeling of unsafety, while the personnel, instead, believe that incidents that have been experienced as troublesome have increased their awareness and experiences of how such situations can be handled, and further increased their motivation to strive for a safe environment for all library visitors. Although the above results show a positive safety experience at Högdalen library, a minor number of visitors (16,3 %) experience, or have experienced, the feeling of unsafety in the library's premises. These experiences of unsafety are based on cases linked to disturbances of order, harassment, drugs, or property crimes, but also problems with obstacles, ability to orientate and lines of sight. The personnel also highlight that some troublesome situations – associated with, for example, youth groups and addicts – have contributed to increased stress and a feeling of discomfort, which subsequently has affected their well-being in the workplace. However, it is important to remember that all people experience safety differently, and that a complete elimination of unsafety can thus be difficult to achieve. Nevertheless, it is vital to make every attempt to prevent the existing risks as much as possible. / Otrygghet är ett problem på många offentliga platser i samhället, däribland bibliotek, där både ordningsstörningar och brott är förekommande problem. Förmodligen upplever många människor biblioteket som en lugn och trygg plats, utan bråk, skadegörelser, våld, stöld, eller trakasserier, ändock är alla dessa återkommande problem på bibliotek. Den här studien genomförs med förhoppningen att klara ut orsakerna till otryggande faktorer på bibliotek, och i bästa fall ta fram åtgärder för att motverka dessa faktorer. Undersökningen görs i form av en fallstudie av Högdalens bibliotek, där syftet med studien är att få en ökad förståelse för hur miljön på biblioteket påverkar tryggheten på platsen utifrån besökares och personals trygghetsupplevelser. I syfte att få svar på studiens huvudsakliga forskningsfråga – alltså hur besökare och personal upplever tryggheten på Högdalens bibliotek – görs en enkätundersökning besvarad av 43 biblioteksbesökare, samt intervjuer med fyra personer från bibliotekets personal. Studien innefattar därtill en granskning och sammanställning av statistik från besvärande händelser som inträffat på biblioteket mellan åren 2017 och 2020 för att vidare, tillsammans med enkätundersökningen och intervjuerna, få svar på vilka problem som är mest förekommande på biblioteket idag. Förhoppningen är att enkätundersökningen, intervjuerna, statistiken och studiens teori- och litteraturunderlag ska ge svar på hur brottsprevention genom urban design kan användas som referens för att förbättra tryggheten på Högdalens bibliotek. Studien är avgränsad och innefattar inte någon jämförelse mellan Högdalens bibliotek och andra bibliotek i avseende på trygghetsupplevelsen. Studiens resultat visar att besökare och personal har en positiv bild av trygghetsupplevelsen på Högdalens bibliotek. Majoriteten av enkätrespondenterna (83,7 %) har inte upplevt någon situation som frambringat känslan av otrygghet, medan personalen i stället menar att händelser som upplevts besvärande har ökat deras kunskaper och erfarenheter om hur sådana situationer kan hanteras, samt vidare ökat deras motivation att sträva efter en trygg miljö för alla biblioteks- besökare. Trots att ovannämnda resultat visar en positiv trygghetsupplevelse på Högdalens bibliotek finns det ett mindre antal besökare (16,3 %) som upplever, eller har upplevt, känslan av otrygghet i bibliotekets lokaler. Dessa otrygghetsupplevelser grundar sig på fall kopplat till ordningsstörningar, trakasserier, narkotika eller egendomsbrott, men också problem med hinder, orienteringsmöjligheter och siktlinjer. Personalen belyser också att vissa besvärande situationer – förknippat med exempelvis ungdomsgrupper och missbrukare – har bidragit med ökad stress och en känsla av obehag, vilket fortsättningsvis påverkat deras välbefinnande på arbetsplatsen. Det är dock viktigt att komma ihåg att alla människor upplever trygghet på olika sätt, och att en fullständig eliminering av otrygghet således kan vara svårt att uppnå – men det är trots detta betydelsefullt att i största möjliga grad försöka förebygga de risker som finns.

Nodes 2.0 : Enabling informal meeting situations in a contemporary office environment

The contemporary office environment is facing new type of challanges both when it comes to be an attractive place for employees and an efficiant, as well as an econommic sustainable space from an employer's perspective. The rapid change of of hybrid ways of working is creating more remote contact with with the physical office. Research points out that there could be social consequences connected to this. This thesis sees the contemporary office as a potential space for enabling contacts between people, normaly not meeting, being in their personal sphere.  The thesis introduces findings connected to research in the field of spatial and urban design as well as architecture, developing a spatial guideline, in how to enable those situations in an office environment.  With help of literature as well as expertise in the field, and an observation of an activity-based office environment different themes is deceted and presented. The outcome of used methods is captured with analyses connected to the connected themes.  Concrete examples in how to enable social contact situations and support informal meetings is visualized in a spatial guideline.

Grunden för att skapa säkra och hälsosamma arbetsplatser är systematiskt arbetsmiljöarbete och för att det ska fungera krävs goda grundkunskaper. I det systematiska arbetsmiljöarbetet ingår alla arbetsmiljöförhållanden samt årlig uppföljning, arbetsmiljöpolicy, rutiner, samarbete, uppgiftsfördelning, kunskaper, undersökning, riskbedömning och åtgärder. Det finns en kunskapslucka i hur arbetsmiljöinformation kommuniceras för god hälsa och säkerhet på arbetsplatser och det behövs mer forskning om chefers och medarbetares kunskap om arbetsmiljön. Tidigare forskning visar även att kommuners systematiska arbetsmiljöarbete inte fungerar tillfredställande. Den här studien syftar till att få en förståelse över hur HR, chefer, medarbetare, facklig och politiker upplever att det systematiska arbetsmiljöarbetet kommuniceras och informeras i en kommunal verksamhet. En kvalitativ metod har använts genom tio intervjuer. Empirin har analyserats utifrån en induktiv tematisk analys. Resultatet visar att det inte finns en rutin för hur det systematiska arbetsmiljöarbetet ska kommuniceras och informeras, däremot finns rutiner i hur kommunen ska arbeta med det systematiska arbetsmiljöarbetet genom ett årshjul. Kunskapen om det systematiska arbetsmiljöarbetet är varierande hos de själva, närmast ansvariga och kollegor. Kommunen har forum för att kommunicera och informera om det systematiska arbetsmiljöarbetet samt utbildningar för vissa yrkesgrupper i systematiskt arbetsmiljöarbete. Slutsatsen är att trots att det finns ett arbetssätt, rutiner, forum och utbildning framkom brister och otydlighet i kommunikation och information av det systematiska arbetsmiljöarbetet på olika nivåer. / The basis for creating safe and healthy workplaces is systematic work environment and good basic knowledge is required for it to work well. The systematic work environment includes all work environment conditions and annual follow-up, work environment policy, routines, cooperation, task allocation, knowledge, investigation, risk assessment and measures. There is a knowledge gap in how work environment information is communicated for good health and safety at workplaces and more research is needed on managers' and employees' knowledge of the work environment. Previous research also shows that municipalities' systematic work environment does not work satisfactorily. This study aims to gain understanding of how HR, managers, coworker, trade union and politicians experience the communication and information about the systematic work environment in a municipal organization. A qualitative method has been used through ten interviews. The empirical work has been analyzed based on an inductive thematic analysis. The results shows that there is no routine for how the systematic work environment should be communicated and informed but there are routines for how the municipality should work with the systematic work environment through an annual cycle. The knowledge of the systematic work environment is variable among themselves, managers and colleagues. The municipality has forums to communicate and inform about the systematic work environment and education for some occupational groups in systematic work environment. The conclusion is that although there is a way of working, routines, forums and education deficiencies and lack of clarity became apparent in communication and information of the systematic work environment at different levels.
