CoordenaÃÃo de AperfeiÃoamento de Pessoal de NÃvel Superior / Este estudo se constitui numa pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, de carÃter descritivo e exploratÃrio. Intenta contribuir para uma discussÃo Ãtica no campo da prÃtica clÃnica, tendo como referÃncias a Ãtica radical de Emannuel LÃvinas e a Psicoterapia Centrada na Pessoa. O objetivo geral à compreender as possibilidades de abertura à alteridade radical na relaÃÃo terapÃutica a partir de discursos de psicoterapeutas centrados na pessoa sobre sua prÃtica clÃnica. Para tanto, realizamos entrevistas semiestruturadas com cinco psicoterapeutas acerca de experiÃncias com o inusitado em sua prÃtica clÃnica. A interpretaÃÃo dos discursos teve inspiraÃÃo na hermenÃutica derridiana, focalizando como proposta a ideia de desconstruÃÃo, por permitir a emergÃncia da diferenÃa advinda do prÃprio discurso. Na desconstruÃÃo dos discursos, pudemos nos aproximar de possÃveis espaÃos de abertura à alteridade na relaÃÃo terapÃutica, discorrendo sobre a vulnerabilidade e responsabilidade do terapeuta frente ao inusitado. Numa postura de acolhimento, o terapeuta deveria permitir-se a utilizaÃÃo da sensibilidade e da intuiÃÃo nos atendimentos, estando com o cliente em seu sofrimento a partir das atitudes facilitadoras como possibilitadoras de uma compreensÃo do cliente como enigma. / This study constitutes of a qualitative research with a descriptive and exploratory character. It intends to contribute to a discussion of ethics in clinical practice, with reference to the radical ethics of Emmanuel Levinas and the Person-Centered Psychotherapy. The overall goal is to understand the possibilities of opening to radical alterity in the therapeutic relationship from discourses of person-centered psychotherapists about their clinical practice. Thus, we performed semi-structured interviews with five psychotherapists about the unexpected experiences in their clinical practice. The interpretation of the discourses was inspired in Derrida's hermeneutics, focusing on how the idea of deconstruction was proposed, allowing the arising of the difference in speech itself. In the deconstruction of the discourses we get closer to potential areas of openness to otherness in the therapeutic relationship, talking about the therapist vulnerability and responsibility against the unexpected. In a welcoming position the therapist would have to allow the use of his sensitivity and the intuition in their attendance, being with the client in its suffering, from the facilitative attitudes as enablers of a understanding of the client as an enigma.

A produção incessante de filmes em Hollywood se organiza de acordo com alguns gêneros principais que comportam, cada um, características pré-definidas em termos de conteúdo. Ao longo das três últimas décadas, um sub-gênero do terror (o filme sobre terrorismo) se desenvolveu, reforçando uma tendência já existente de produzir filmes catástrofe. Essa nova categoria ofereceu outras possibilidades de roteiros, e dentre os inúmeros títulos que abordam o terrorismo, The Siege (Nova York Sitiada), lançado dois anos após um ataque contra o exército dos EUA na Arábia Saudita, em 1996, se destaca. Tais roteiros pressupõem o conflito, daí a imprescindibilidade da figura da antítese, por vezes apenas como um substrato narrativo devido a suscetibilidades do período histórico em questão. Nessas tramas, o inimigo é invariavelmente estrangeiro, o que requer, entre outros elementos necessários para sua representação, a destinação de um espaço para o seu dizer, oportunidade que pode revelar a presença de uma língua outra no filme além do inglês. Ancorado em pressupostos teóricos da Análise do Discurso de linha francesa, este trabalho investiga, em trechos pré-selecionados, as representações sobre os modos de dizer associados a essa alteridade (no caso, o personagem árabe), refletindo também acerca do mesmo tipo de representação que, por oposição, fica associado ao sujeito a partir de cujo olhar todas essas construções são materializadas. O trabalho procura observar, sempre a partir dessa noção de espaço destinado ao dizer, como se dá o processo de identificação no filme ou seja, a reconhecer os tipos de identidade construídos para ambos os personagens (oriental e ocidental) que, no complexo dos trechos analisados, se contrapõem. / The continuous production of movies in Hollywood is organized according to certain major genres, each of which allows for predefined features in terms of contents. Over the last three decades, a subgenre of terror (the terrorist movie) has developed, reviving an existing tendency to produce catastrophe movies. This new category has offered other possibilities of screenplays. Among the number of titles which deal with terrorism, The Siege, released two years after the 1996 attack on the US military in Saudi Arabia, stands out. Such screenplays presuppose conflict and the antithetical figure therefore becomes fundamental, even if only as a narrative substratum due to the susceptibilities of the historic period in question. In these plots, the enemy is invariably a foreigner, thus requiring, among other necessary elements for his representation, the reservation of a space for verbal expression. This is an occasion which can reveal the presence of a language other than English in the movie. Anchored in the theoretical principles of French school Discourse Analysis, this dissertation investigates, in pre-selected excerpts, the representations of the modes of verbal expression associated with this alterity (the Arab character, in this case). This dissertation attempts to observe, always based on this notion of space reserved for the modes of verbal expression, how the process of identification occurs in the movie in other words, to recognize the types of identity constructed for both characters (eastern and western) that, in the complex of the excerpts analyzed, serve as counterpoints.

Esta dissertação presta-se a oferecer considerações para um adensamento do quadro teórico que fomenta debates contemporâneos sobre formação docente para o ensino de inglês no Brasil, aprofundando-se na questão do jogo identidade/ alteridade, uma vez que considera que a presença das línguas estrangeiras na Educação Básica deve atender à necessidade atual de nossa sociedade de repensar temas tais como os efeitos da globalização sobre práticas interculturais. Recorrendo ao campo da Arte como fonte conceitual, o trabalho faz uma leitura de teorias do Teatro Pós-Dramático para tentar compreender quais são as precondições, no âmbito da construção da subjetividade através de aprendizagem pela técnica teatral, à efetivação de uma capacidade de deslocamento crítico do ser entre modelos de produção de conhecimento que, dentro do pensamento dualista pós-industrial, repelem-se mutualmente. Por meio de estudo bibliográfico, toma-se a união psicofísica como canal transversal para uma abordagem do percurso das forças afetivas sobre o ator e sua atuação, expandindo-se a problematização da relação do indivíduo com os procedimentos e técnicas do poder, ao se explorarem as formas pelas quais o emprego de diferentes sensibilidades impacta na constituição de espaços dissensuais de coexistência entre múltiplos paradigmas políticos. / This thesis looks into the question of identity/alterity with an aim to provide considerations that can broaden the theoretical framework currently fostering debates about teacher education for the teaching of English in Brazil, since it considers that the presence of foreign languages in formal education must meet the present need of our society to rethink topics such as the effects of globalization on intercultural practices. Through the use of Art as a conceptual source, the project proposes an interpretation of Post-Dramatic Theater theories within the scope of the construction of subjectivity through learning promoted by theatrical technique, in order to try and understand the preconditions to the accomplishment of a capacity for critical ontological movement between models of knowledge production that repel each other, according to dualist post-industrial thinking. By means of a bibliographical study, the psychophysical union is taken as a transversal channel for an approach to the trajectory of affective forces on the actor and his performance, expanding the problematization of the relation of the individual with the procedures and techniques of power, while exploring the manner in which the use of different sensibilities impacts on the constitution of dissensual spaces of coexistence between multiple political paradigms.

Notamos que utilizou-se de três mecanismos para tal: descrição dos tupinambás e seus costumes, valorização da experiência pessoal em detrimento dos escritos da Antiguidade e recorrência a alguns termos cosmográficos da época (latitude, longitude, bússola, astrolábio) / Abstract: This work studied the workmanship Singularities of Antartic France, of André Thevet, royal French cosmógrapher of the expedition Antartic France in Rio de Janeiro. Our objective was to understand how Thevet constructed himself as cosmographer and how Brazil was inserted in his cosmographia. A presente pesquisa trata de uma temática específica: as formas e contornos que o corpo adquire na subjetivação de si e do outro, como lugar de identificação na contemporaneidade. O objetivo geral da pesquisa consiste em procurar compreender a relevância que o corpo assume atualmente nos modos de nomeação do outro jovem, e de que modo isso estaria afetando os sujeitos. Para tanto, realizamos uma análise de imagens sobre corpos jovens e um estudo sobre depoimentos de estudantes a respeito do tema, a fim de problematizar discursos e práticas diversas que se produzem e circulam relacionadas a esse debate. Em termos metodológicos, trabalhamos com dois grupos focais, de 12 alunos do Ensino Médio, na faixa de idade entre 15 e 18 anos, que discorreram sobre 28 fotografias de corpos jovens e sobre seqüências de dois filmes. Utilizando conceitos como alteridade, corpo, juventude, diferença e subjetividade, de autores como Jurandir Freire Costa, Francisco Ortega, Michel Foucault e Denise Sant’Anna, entre outros, pudemos concluir, mesmo provisoriamente, que a imagem do corpo parece estar regulando, em grande medida, as relações entre os jovens, de forma a qualificar, caracterizar e ordenar o outro, assim como definir seu respectivo pertencimento nas esferas sociais. Os depoimentos coletados indicam que as relações nessa sociedade e cultura parecem estar construídas em torno de um apelo fortemente idealizado sobre a imagem, em relação à qual os indivíduos se vêem entre a resistência e a submissão. / The present research deals with a specific theme: the shapes and outlines that the body acquires in the subjectivation of oneself and the other, as a place of identification in contemporaneity. The general objective of the research is to try and understand the relevance taken on by the body nowadays in the ways to name another youngster, and how this could be affecting the subjects. For that purpose, we have analyzed images of young bodies and a study about students’ testimonies concerning the theme, in order to problematize discourse and various practices that originate and circulate related to this debate. In terms of methodology, we have worked with two focal groups, of 12 students from Secondary School, between the ages of 15 and 18, who talked about 28 photographs of young bodies and about excerpts of two films. Using concepts such as alterity, body, youth, difference and subjectivity, from authors like Jurandir Freire Costa, Francisco Ortega, Michel Foucault and Denise Sant’Anna, among others, we could get to the conclusion, even if not definitely, that the image of the body seems to be regulating, to a great extent, the relations among youngsters, qualifying, characterizing and arranging the other, as well as defining their respective belonging in the social spheres. The testimonies collected indicate that the relations in this society and culture seem to be built around a strongly idealized appeal about the image, in relation to which the individuals see themselves between resistance and submission.

The objective of this dissertation is to analyse the processes of black or Afrobolivian identity formation in the Afrobolivian community of Tocaña, by examining the meshwork of relations that constitute the fluxes of material blacknesses. The concept of material blacknesses, which I aim to trace, emerges from the use of the concept of “materials” as coined by Tim Ingold. To achieve this aim, I have conducted ethnographic research that employs participant observation as a fundamental tool. My ethnographic approach aims to fully acknowledge the ways in which I have been affected by my experiences with the Tocañeros. In addition, it is an auto-reflexive ontography that blurs the dichotomy of researcher/researched. Lastly, it reflects the concept of anexactness as described by Deleuze, which implies both academic rigor and intentional inexactness. Finally, the theoretical framework revolves around three analytical categories: material blacknesses, alteration of the logic of inversion and the radicalization of alterity. These concepts were generated based on the lived experiences of the community of Tocaña, and are in horizontal dialogue with realist and postcolonial epistemologies. It is through this dialogue, and based on the ontological turn in the social sciences, that this dissertation aims to contribute to the debate about blackness. / El objetivo de esta investigación es, partiendo del proceso de aprendizaje y vivencia con los Tocañeros, analizar los procesos de constitución identitaria negra entre los pobladores de la Comunidad Afroboliviana de Tocaña a través de la malla (Ingold, 2011a, 63) de relaciones que constituyen los flujos de negritudes materiales. El concepto de flujos de negritudes materiales, a las cuales tengo como objetivo seguir, emergen del concepto de “materiales” acuñado por Tim Ingold. Para cumplir con este objetivo realicé un trabajo etnográfico que emplea como técnica fundante a la observación participante. Asimismo, el enfoque etnográfico aquí empleado se ve guiado por los afectos generados durante mis vivencias con los Tocañeros. Otra de las características de este trabajo es el uso del enfoque ontográfíco auto-reflexiva, el cual difumina las fronteras entre la dicotomía investigador/investigados. Una última particularidad es la anexactitud, concepto deleuziano que denota tanto rigurosidad académica como una inexactitud intencional. Finalmente, el universo teórico se centrará en tres categorías analíticas: negritudes materiales, alteración de la lógica de la inversión y la radicalización de la alteridad. Estos conceptos, generados a partir de las vivencias con la comunidad Tocañera, dialoga horizontalmente con los enfoques epistemológicos realistas, y poscoloniales. Es a través de esta relación dialógica, y partiendo desde el ámbito del giro ontológico de las ciencias sociales, que se tiene como objetivo aportar al debate sobre negritud.

nÃo hà / A prÃtica de cuidado Ãtico de Enfermagem no Ãmbito dos serviÃos de saÃde, especificamente nos hospitais pÃblicos de ensino, se insere como parte do trabalho coletivo na Ãrea de saÃde, incorporando aspectos tÃcnico, gerencial, pedagÃgico, social e polÃtico. A dimensÃo Ãtica da alteridade do cuidado, neste cenÃrio laboral, assume a configuraÃÃo de uma atitude de respeito e acolhimento do outro, ensejando a continua reflexÃo e mudanÃa de atitude dos profissionais de Enfermagem. O objetivo deste estudo à compreender a concepÃÃo Ãtica do cuidado na experiÃncia cotidiana de Enfermagem no hospital pÃblico universitÃrio, com discussÃo Ãtica da alteridade radical em Emmanuel LÃvinas. De carÃter descritivo, este estudo se fundamenta na fenomenologia HermenÃutica, com abordagem qualitativa. A apreensÃo dos dados empÃricos se concretizou junto a nove enfermeiros do quadro funcional do hospital, com a utilizaÃÃo da tÃcnica de entrevista individual. A anÃlise dos depoimentos evidenciou trÃs eixos temÃticos: cuidado, Ãtica e alteridade de Enfermagem. Sob tais dimensÃes, os dados analisados permitiram identificar a importÃncia da Ãtica da alteridade no cuidado de Enfermagem, a busca da organizaÃÃo do processo de cuidar e da gestÃo, o aperfeiÃoamento profissional, a interdisciplinaridade das aÃÃes mediante a mobilizaÃÃo e articulaÃÃo de saberes, o cuidado responsÃvel e Ãtico, a atitude de entender a importÃncia da qualidade assistencial, o compromisso com a subjetividade do cuidado, ressaltados pelos entrevistados. Estes profissionais, todavia, convivem, atualmente, com as contradiÃÃes inerentes ao seu processo de trabalho, acentuando o modelo assistencial que persiste em transitar entre o modelo funcional e integral, nos moldes curativista e hospitalocÃntrico. O modelo a gestÃo imprime, ainda hoje, as caracterÃsticas do trabalho mecanicista e fragmentado; a multidisciplinaridade e sua relaÃÃo direta com a hierarquizaÃÃo do cuidado, em detrimento da interdisciplinaridade; o sofrimento ocupacional derivado das condiÃÃes laborais inadequadas; deficit progressivo da forÃa de trabalho e absenteÃsmo crescente; e mudanÃa atual da estrutura organizacional, no que concorrem para a tensÃo entre o cuidar e gerenciar. Em decorrÃncia deste cenÃrio, à possÃvel concluir que a Enfermagem resiste, de forma propositiva, a estes desafios, revelando acentuado indÃcio Ãtico em relaÃÃo à alteridade do cuidado. Esta tendÃncia poderà expressar a reflexÃo para a reinvenÃÃo da prÃtica social do cuidar, transcendendo a clÃssica atitude do cuidado parcelar para a dimensÃo da alteridade do cuidado Ãtico. / The practice of ethical Nursing care within health services, particularly in public hospitals of Education, comes as part of collective work in health, incorporating technical, managerial, educational, social and political. The ethical dimension of alterity of care in this work scene, assumes the configuration of an attitude of respect and welcome the other, and promotes a continous refletction and changing of attitude of nursing professionals. The aim of this study is to understand the design ethic of care in the daily experience of nursing in the University Public Hospital, with ethical discussion of radical alterity in Emmanuel LÃvinas. Descriptive in nature, this study is based on the Hermeneutic-phenomenology, with a qualitative approach. The seizure of the empirical data was achieved with nine nurses of the hospital staff, using the technique of individual interview. The analysis revealed evidence of three areas: care, ethics and otherness of Nursing. Under such dimensions, the data analysis allowed us to identify the importance of ethics of alterity in nursing care, the search for the organization of the care and management, the training, the interdisciplinarity of the shares through the mobilization and articulation of knowledge, the ethical and responsible care, the attitude of understanding the importance of quality care, the commitment to the subjectivity of care, highlighted by the interviewees. However, these workers live, now, with the contradictions inherent in the process of their work, emphasizing the care model that persists in transit between the model and fully functional in form and curative hospital. The management model prints, even today, the characteristics of mechanistic and fragmented work, the multidisciplinary and its relationship with the hierarchy of care, rather than interdisciplinarity; the suffering occupational derivative inadequate working conditions; progressive deficit of the workforce and increased absenteeism, and change the current organizational structure to support the tension between the handle and manage. Because of this scenario, it can be concluded that the Nursing resist, so purposeful, to these challenges, with strong evidence on ethical alterity of care. This trend can express the reflection for the reinvention of the social practice of care, beyond the classical approach of partial care for the size of alterity ethics of care

O debate que proponho acerca do referido grupo se dá a partir de sua cosmologia, pois pouco ou quase nada foi retratado sobre este campo de pesquisa nas literaturas que estudaram o referido povo. Dessa forma busco considerar a cosmologia do grupo pensando suas narrativas, seus ritos e a relação com entes de seu universo simbólico. Para isso busquei suporte em leituras de outros grupos que pudessem me ajudar a pensar a cosmologia dos Tembé, além de pesquisas que me auxiliassem a considerar a produção do corpo e da pessoa, posto que todos os momentos específicos Tembé de certa forma possuem intenção de se produzir indivíduo. Somem-se a esses, clássicos estudos sobre os Guajajara e Tembé. Estes estudos foram importantes para concluir que as narrativas, ritos de nascimento, adoecimento, passagem, morte e post-morten, relação com caça e grupos que circundam os Tembé. Considerando assim uma postura que é vivida a partir de uma lógica particular, ou melhor, uma (cosmo)lógica essencialmente indígena na região nordeste da Amazônia brasileira.

A amizade é concebida neste estudo como tendo um sentido político pois uma condição necessária do exercício político é aquela de considerar a opinião do outro.Em seu sentido político, a amizade favorece o questionamento de pontos de vista fixos e a irrupção de ações inovadoras. A experimentação política da amizade constitui uma relação agonística, de abertura ao outro na qual os corpos estão dispostos a afetar e serem afetados, implicados em contribuir com o aumento da capacidade de reflexão e ação do amigo. A experiência intersubjetiva encontra-se no centro da compreensão contemporânea dos processos de constituição de subjetividade, configurando uma ética da imprescindibilidade do outro para a produção do si mesmo. Este trabalho busca investigar as semânticas da amizade intrínsecas à atual mediação das relações pela internet, e busca discutir se os vínculos de amizade mediados pela internet possibilitam ou não a experimentação da qualidade política da amizade. A experimentação política da amizade na internet é lida à luz da teoria dos afetos de Baruch Espinosa. A concepção do corpo em Espinosa, sustentada pela unidade corpo-alma e capacidade de afeto constitui um elemento precioso para a compreensão da presença e das intensidades afetivas em jogo nas relações de amizades na internet, as quais excluem contato físico. A experimentação política da amizade é também compreendida a partir de um outro elemento da Filosofia de Espinosa: o corpo é essencialmente relacional e é na relação com seus outros, na maneira como afeta e é afetado por eles que se dá a condição de possibilidade da resistência à tristeza e afirmação da alegria - compreendida como aumento da potência de pensar e agir. Adultos foram entrevistados sobre suas histórias de amizades mediadas pela internet. Os afetos nas relações mediadas pela internet presentes nas narrativas revelam uma nova maneira de estar junto. Nela, os amigos não só estimulam o aumento da capacidade de reflexão uns dos outros como também incentivam o engajamento em novas atividades e a mobilização para realização de ações práticas no cotidiano para além do contexto das conversas online. As narrativas mostram que os vínculos de amizades travados na internet configuram relações de enriquecedoras trocas de opiniões e aprendizagens - inclusive de caráter transcultural, que propiciam a reflexão e relativização do pensamento. Os resultados da pesquisa demonstram que os vínculos de amizades mediados pela internet podem compor encontros alegres na medida em que se expressam como relações solidárias onde os amigos favorecem o aumento da potência de refletir e de ação dos corpos. Os vínculos entre amigos na internet não só se expressaram como viabilizadores da experimentação da qualidade política da amizade naquilo que concerne à possibilidade de deslocamento e relativização do pensamento, mas também porque engendraram gestos com o vigor da solidariedade que mobilizam os corpos a agir em defesa da afirmação de sua potência. / Friendship is conceived in this study as having a political meaning, since a necessary condition of political engagement is to consider the views of others. In its political meaning, friendship can change fixed points of view and can foster the emergence of innovative actions. The political experimentation of friendship is an agonistic relationship, an opened relationship to others where bodies are prepared to affect and to be affected, and where each one is engaged in contributing to the increased capacity for reflection and action of his friend. The intersubjective experience is at the center of the contemporary understanding of the processes of formation of subjectivity, setting up an ethics of the other as indispensable for the production of oneself. This study investigates the friendship´s semantic within the current mediation of the Internet, and looks forward to discussing if the bonds of friendship mediated by the Internet enable or not the experimentation of political quality of friendship. The political experimentation of friendship by the Internet is read in the light of Baruch Spinoza´s theory of affects. His conception of body states a mind-body unity and a capacity for affection which is a precious tool in the understanding of the modality of presence and the affective intensities at stake in the relations of friendship on the Internet, which preclude the physical contact. The political experimentation of friendship is also understood with another element of Spinoza´s Philosophy: the body is essentially relational and it is in its relationship to others and in how it affects and is affected by them that it gives the condition of possibility of resistance against sorrow and affirmation of joy - which are respectively understood as a decreasing and an increasing power to think and act. We interviewed adults over their stories of friendships Internet-mediated.The affects present in Internet-mediated relationships unveiled by the narratives reveal a new way of being together. Friends not only show an increased ability to reflect each other but also encourage engagement in new activities and mobilization for implementation of practical actions in everyday life far beyond the context of online conversations. The accounts show that the bonds of friendship caught on the internet relationships shape an enriching exchange of views and learning - including cross-cultural characters, which provide matter for reflection and foster relativistic thinking. The survey results show that the bonds of friendship mediated by the Internet can make up joyful meetings as it is expressed in supportive relationships where friends help to increase the power of thinking and the action of the bodies. The bonds between friends by the Internet not only reveal themselves as ways of experimentation of a political quality of friendship, understood as the possibility of a shifting and a relativistic thinking, but also engendered gestures with the strength of solidarity which mobilize the bodies to act in defense of affirmation of its power.

Este trabalho tem por objetivo ensaiar aplicações de estruturas topológicas interpretadas psicanaliticamente ao estudo do transe de possessão na umbanda, entendido como enunciação irredutível ao estritamente verbal. Para esse efeito, o sujeito (instância enunciante) e o Outro (no caso, presentificado pelo mundo dos espíritos) são considerados como diferentes funções que se alternam em uma superfície moebiana (unilateral). Utiliza-se o método psicanalítico lacaniano em contextos sociais por meio de uma reconceptualização do método etnográfico, denominada de escuta participante, mediante participação e interação em terreiros de umbanda na qualidade de consulente. Com base no teorema geral das superfícies que, por meio de transformações homeomórficas, iguala três planos projetivos a um plano projetivo mais um toro, desenvolveu-se em linha com a topologia lacaniana duas vertentes de análise a partir do mapeamento da cadeia significante tecida na relação transferencial. Uma baseia-se no corte em oito interior e a outra no furo (estrutural à composição das superfícies). De um ponto de vista, a possessão pode ser compreendida em função da lógica inconsciente (fantasia), que relaciona as operações de produção do sujeito (alienação e separação) com a operação do corte que modifica sua estrutura, apresentando-o como dividido sem, no entanto, ser dois. De outro, ela pode ser compreendida como uma forma enunciativa que narra uma fantasia pressupondo uma escuta que não se restringe ao auditivo estrito senso, mas que é inclusiva do olhar e do cinestésico associado ao movimento. Com esta modelagem, alcança-se ampliar a pesquisa social e a escuta analítica a processos de enunciação espaço-temporais desatrelados da consciência, do psiquismo individual e da subordinação a uma concepção de interioridade psíquica os quais, por outro lado, também são desvinculados do social e da história como exteriores ao sujeito. / This work aims to assay applications of topological structures psychoanalytically interpreted to the study possession trance in Umbanda, which is comprehended as a kind of enunciation irreducible to strictly verbal. The subject (enunciative instance) and the Other (in this case, materialized in the spirits world) are considered as different functions that alter themselves in a moebian (one-sided) surface. The Lacanian psychoanalysis method is used in social contexts after reconceptualizing the ethnographic method, now denominated participant listening. The researcher participated and interacted in Umbanda temples in the capacity of consultant. Based on the general theorem of surfaces that, through homeomorphic transformations equals three projective planes into a projective plan plus a torus, two analytical versions were developed from the mapping of the significant chain webbed in the transferencial relationship. One relies on the interior eight cut and the other one on the hole (structural to the surfaces composition). In a point of view, the possession can be understood as derived from the unconscious logic (fantasy) that relates the operations of the subjects production (alienation and separation) with the cut operation that modifies the structure, presenting the divided subject but not in two pieces. From another point of view, the possession can be thought as an enunciative form that describes a fantasy, which is not restricted to the hearing strict sense, but includes the gaze and the kinesthetic associated with the movement. After this modeling, social research and analytical listening are amplified to space-time enunciation processes released from consciousness, from individual psychism and from the subordination of an interiority psychic conception. They are also disentailed from the social and the history comprehended as exterior to the subject.
