Condições de trabalho e formação de professoras atuantes no ciclo I do Ensino Fundamental

Fernandes, Anoel 28 July 2014 (has links)

No. of bitstreams: 1 Anoel Fernandes.pdf: 1592972 bytes, checksum: dfbbe26a2369e0a7ef55b04fb9e10b9f (MD5) Previous issue date: 2014-07-28 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / This work aims to investigate conceptions and perceptions by a group of teachers working in Cycle I of Fundamental Teaching São Paulo State‟s public school chain about education and teaching organization into cycles with continued progression. That was the focusing basis for teachers and objective working conditions development for exercising teaching, relating subjectiveness and objectiveness. A questionnaire was applied as the research procedure to 37 female teachers working at schools located in the city of Campinas. The chosen data-analysis theoretical referential is the critical theory of society, especially the formation concept by Theodor W. Adorno and the notions of political universe closing and that of the one-dimensional expression and thought by Herbert Marcuse, in addition to the concept of alienation just as developed by Karl Marx. Set objectives are: 1) examine how the researched teachers‟ background is carried through, having as a reference their conceptions about education and teaching organization (in cycles with continued progression); 2) identify and analyze the teachers‟ awareness regarding the conditions to exercise teaching, from the alienation concept; 3) relate teaching working conditions and the teacher‟s background. As for the hypotheses, they were so stated: 1) the educational models, the norms and rules imposed by the policy promoted by the São Paulo State Education Secretariat (SEE/SP), associated with the teachers‟ aversion to the theoretical knowledge enhance pseudo-formation, and, on account of this situation, there tend to prevail one-dimensional thought patterns; 2) the alienating working conditions make awareness difficult for the teachers regarding the objective situations they undergo, and the investment in their formation process. The first hypothesis could be confirmed almost to its entire extent since the teachers‟ opinion about education and teaching organization are shaped up to a great extent by the educational system itself, which implies saying that the political dimension to the formation is quite harmed. This situation seems to get more acute as aversion prevails towards the theory or principle of pragmatism. Just the same, it was verified that the conditions in which continued formation takes bring forth pseudo-formation. In addition, engulfed by the official discourse which becomes the reference the teachers show difficulties to be apart from the one-dimensional thought, which brings about acceptance of the official policy as the expression of truth. Nonetheless, in the school‟s day-by-day aspects, the same teachers showed counterpoising ability, chiefly criticizing how the learning evaluation is carried out. Although such criticism is measured through the obstacles which on their judgment make the pedagogical work difficult, the teachers, in this feature, show dissonance towards the thought pattern imposed by the SEE/SP. The second hypothesis, however, could not be confirmed. Alienation is present in the teachers‟ lives; the data indicate that the lack of relationship with culture (or precarious relationship therewith) shows itself in the aversion presented in the theoretical knowledge. The verified trend was lack of willingness and openness to formation (brought to life in courses offered and in readings about educational issues) not immediately presenting the solution to the problems faced by them at school and in treating the students. Therefore, submitted to the logic practice superposition to theory imposes, the analyzed teachers do not invest in their own formation, and this difficulty seems to be enhanced by them as they reproduce the expected conduct pattern and do not relate the pedagogic problems to the general structure of society / O objetivo deste trabalho foi investigar as concepções e percepções de um grupo de professoras atuantes no ciclo I do Ensino Fundamental, da rede pública estadual paulista, sobre a educação e a organização do ensino em ciclos com progressão continuada.

So you think you can dance? a dança na TV como corpomídia da competência neoliberal / So you think you can dance? the dance on TV as bodymidia of the neoliberal competence

The images displayed configure a discourse which celebrates a neoliberal competence. According to such discourse, competitions and entertainment transform the dancing body in a midiatic product, which strongly bonds with the so-called selective auditions. We problematize this kind of presence of the dance on TV with the theoretical proposal of Competent Discourse (CHAUÍ, 2014, 1981) and we read it from the Theory Bodymedia (KATZ & GREINER, 2015, 2005). Our hypothesis is that the programs that compose such televisual segment transform themselves into the bodymedia of the fundamental values of neoliberalism. The titles of many of them already show the mediatic relations and communication ties with the neoliberal values, engineered as competent discourses on competence which formulate, biopolitically, the competent body that needs to show their competencies publicly. We emphasize the program and North American franchise So You Think You Can Dance (Fox 2005-2015), known by the acronym SYTYCD, which also composes our research object. This program produced some authorized replications by spreading throughout the world a "so-you-think" way of making the body dance. One of them is a franchisee program in Portuguese, Achas Que Sabes Dançar?(SIC, 2010, 2015). In Brazil, it is broadcast as a non-franchised and controversial version called Se Ela Dança, Eu Danço (SBT, 2011, 2011) .The research suggests that publicly showing 'selective auditions', which were before situations relegated to backstage, made them become biopolitical dispositives (FOUCAULT, M.; AGAMBEN, G.; ESPOSITO, R.; FREIRE FILHO, J.; PRADO, J. L.A.) of the model of the competent body to dance , in which competence is associated with competition. The association between competent and winner becomes an abyssal line (SANTOS, B. S.) of invisibility production for all the bodies which do not fit in the logic of new capitalism (SENNETT, R.) and artist capitalism (LIPOVETSKY, G. & SERROY, J.). The objective is to critically reflect upom the reach of the discourse of the dancing body, that mediatizes itself and it engenders in society / Na televisão do século XXI, a dança tem sido veiculada em programas competitivos do gênero Reality Show para novos talentos. Destaca-se o programa/franquia norteamericano So You Think You Can Dance (Fox, 2005-2015), cuja sigla é SYTYCD e que compõe nosso objeto de pesquisa.

Sundbom, Marie January 2011 (has links)
Many of us have grown up hearing or using words meant as insults or negative adjectives that were in fact names for social groups. Most of them have gone unquestioned in the mainstream consciousness, but the term Gay in the generally negative meaning has in the past years been given attention as offensive and homophobic, with debates emerging in response over whether or not this is true, particularly on the internet. It is the articles and forum threads from these debates that make out the empirical material for a qualitative study as I ask what these people’s thoughts are about this term and how it is perceived. After a qualitative coding and analysis of these texts, and interpretation of the results based on Erving Goffman’s theory of Phantom acceptance and stigma terms, Judith Butler’s theory of performativity, Ferdinand de Sassure’s theory of signifier and signified and how it connects to the community and Baudrillards theory of simulacra, this is the principal conclusion that I have drawn: For some of the people in this debate, the term Gay and its use is about homophobia and heterosexism, though mostly it’s not overt but a subconscious part of the continued dehumanization and stigmatization of homo- and bisexual people. This is a position I call The socially focused skepticism. Others distance themselves from this idea, talking about language development, the lack of inherent meaning of words and freedom of expression. Using Baudrillard for guidance, I interpret this as having a different, more abstract view of language than those who connect the term to heterosexism, and with this focus on language I name this position The language centered defense. Yet another group frame their reasoning about the term in compromise, preferring to limit their use of it to certain contexts rather than disposing the habit entirely or risk causing offense. To these people, whether or not the word is homophobic is less relevant to the discussion than showing respect for how it can be perceived, which gives their position the name The compromising position.

Synthesis And Characterization Of Lithium Triborate By Different Synthesis Methods And Their Thermoluminescent Properties

Depci, Tolga 01 May 2009 (has links) (PDF)
Lithium triborate, (LiB3O5), is a technologically important material for diverse applications, such as nonlinear optical materials and surface acoustic wave devices or, etc. Furthermore, it is suggested as an efficient thermoluminescent material. LiB3O5, suitable to dosimetric usage, was produced by different synthesis methods which were high temperature solid state reaction, microwave solid state reaction, microwave assisted high temperature solid state reaction and precipitation assisted high temperature solid state reaction. After the synthesis, metal oxides were doped into LiB3O5 to enhance its thermoluminescent properties. Identification and characteristics of LiB3O5 were determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infra red (FTIR) analyses, Differential Thermal Analyses (DTA), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Particle Size Analyzer. The glow curves were obtained by using thermoluminescent (TL) reader. Among four different synthesis methods applied, high temperature solid state method needs very high temperatures and long duration of heating. Therefore, the effect of the reaction temperature, the time intervals, and also starting materials on production of LiB3O5 were investigated. Characterization studies indicated that LiB3O5 could be produced at 710 &deg / C for 4 hours. Among the starting materials used, Li2CO3 and H3BO3 combination was found the most suitable for the synthesis of LiB3O5 considering phase impurity as well as cost. LiB3O5 synthesized by microwave energy was unsuccessful. However, LiB3O5 could be synthesized by microwave assisted synthesis method by adding distilled water, urea and sucrose separately as thermal auxiliaries in microwave pre-heating step. The use of microwave and conventional ovens subsequently shortened the duration of heating. The crystallinity of LiB3O5 was the best in 40 % sucrose addition to initial mixture. The best method for synthesis of LiB3O5 has been found as precipitation assisted high temperature solid state method. This method yields LiB3O5 with higher phase purity as compared to these produced by other methods applied in this thesis and reported in the literature. It seems to be rather attractive since it is simple and needs less energy. Rare earth metal oxides, CuO and Al2O3 were added to LiB3O5 as activators to improve its TL properties. LiB3O5 synthesized by precipitation assisted high temperature solid state reaction and doped by 5 % wt Al2O3 showed the best TL property. Its main dosimetric characteristics revealed that LiB3O5 seemed to be suitable to medical and radiotherapy applications, since it was non-toxic, tissue equivalent, and chemically inert to body fluids.

Numerical investigation of multiphase Darcy-Forchheimer flow and contaminant transport during SO₂ co-injection with CO₂ in deep saline aquifers

Zhang, Andi 20 September 2013 (has links)
Of all the strategies to reduce carbon emissions, carbon dioxide (CO₂) geological sequestration is an immediately available option for removing large amounts of the gas from the atmosphere. However, our understanding of the transition behavior between Forchheimer and Darcy flow through porous media during CO₂ injection is currently very limited. In addition, the kinetic mass transfer of SO₂ and CO₂ from CO₂ stream to the saline and the fully coupling between the changes of porosity and permeability and multiphase flow are two significant dimensions to investigate the brine acidification and the induced porosity and permeability changes due to SO₂ co-injection with CO₂. Therefore, this dissertation develops a multiphase flow, contaminant transport and geochemical model which includes the kinetic mass transfer of SO₂ into deep saline aquifers and obtains the critical Forchheimer number for both water and CO₂ by using the experimental data in the literature. The critical Forchheimer numbers and the multiphase flow model are first applied to analyze the application problem involving the injection of CO₂ into deep saline aquifers. The results show that the Forchheimer effect would result in higher displacement efficiency with a magnitude of more than 50% in the Forchheimer regime than that for Darcy flow, which could increase the storage capacity for the same injection rate and volume of a site. Another merit for the incorporation of Forchheimer effect is that more CO₂ would be accumulated in the lower half of the domain and lower pressure would be imposed on the lower boundary of the cap-rock. However, as a price for the advantages mentioned above, the injection pressure required in Forchheimer flow would be higher than that for Darcy flow. The fluid flow and contaminant transport and geochemical model is then applied to analyze the brine acidification and induced porosity and permeability changes due to SO₂ co-injection. The results show that the co-injection of SO₂ with CO₂ would lead to a substantially acid zone near the injecting well and it is important to include the kinetic dissolution of SO₂ from the CO₂ stream to the water phase into the simulation models, otherwise considerable errors would be introduced for the equilibrium assumption. This study provides a useful tool for future analysis and comprehension of multiphase Darcy-Forchheimer flow and brine acidification of CO₂ injection into deep saline aquifers. Results from this dissertation have practical use for scientists and engineers concerned with the description of flow behavior, and transport and fate of SO₂ during SO₂ co-injection with CO₂ in deep saline aquifers.

In this sense, some component repositories have been proposed in order to answer such a need. However, repositories need to represent the asset characteristics that can be taken into account by the consumers when choosing the more adequate assets for their needs. In such a context, the literature presents some models proposed to describe the asset characteristics, such as identification, classification, non-functional requirements, usage and deployment information and component interfaces. Nevertheless, the set of characteristics represented by those models is insufficient to describe information used before, during and after the asset acquisition. This information refers to negotiation, certification, change history, adopted development process, events, exceptions and so on. In order to overcome this gap, this work proposes an XML-based model to represent several characteristics, of different asset types, that may be employed in the component-based development. Besides representing metadata used by consumers, useful for asset discovering, acquisition and usage, this model, called X-ARM, also focus on helping asset developers activities. Since the proposed model represents an expressive amount of information, this work also presents a tool called X-Packager, developed with the goal of helping asset description with X-ARM / O Desenvolvimento Baseado em Componentes tem como grande desafio a cria??o de mecanismos que facilitem a identifica??o de assets reus?veis que satisfa?am os requisitos de sistemas particulares sob desenvolvimento.

Correia, Gabriel Costa 18 December 2013 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2016-06-02T20:23:15Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 5832.pdf: 2261692 bytes, checksum: ede99af3ddeae2cf732575bcfea3aea3 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2013-12-18 / Financiadora de Estudos e Projetos / The main goal of this dissertation is to introduce the alternate reality game as a new narrative for multiplatform. By new narratives are understood the forms of storytelling arising from the current development of digital technology; and for multiplatform the variety of means by which the contents of these stories can travel. For this main objective is reached, two main hypotheses are formulated: 1) ARGs are stories for multiple platforms using code-breaking with playful and narrative functions; and 2) they are developed from an intense transtextuality guided by pop mythology that flourished during the twentieth century. Based on this starting point, this thesis will examine two ARGs, Uncertain Zone and Why So Serious?, in a way that it contributes to the hypothesis that Alternate Reality Games are a native narrative form of convergence culture founded on an extensive base of pop culture references. In the chapter dedicated to Uncertain Zone will be listed the various media used during the performance of the ARG, that together with interviews with the developers and testimonials from participants will weave a more descriptive overview of how alternate reality games are composed as multiplatform narratives. In addition, a brief discussion on the playful and narrative functions of the code-breaking in ARGs will be outlined. With Why So Serious? the analysis will focus on the intense transtextuality that alternate reality games establish to what will be called pop mythology in this dissertation and in the relationship between ARGs and market. Incidentally issues related to participatory culture will be raised throughout the text, but without further reflection, since, worth reiterating, the main goal of this thesis is the demonstration of a contemporary narrative form from some elements previously submitted, this form is the alternate reality game.
