A presente pesquisa é apresentada em forma de trabalho artístico equivalente à tese de doutorado, como proposição de final de curso, que se sustenta nas escolas superiores, com o título, Conversações com Baravelli: o ofício contínuo do pensar e do fazer. A escolha pela conversação como fio condutor do trabalho acadêmico, a partir de procedimentos didáticos, apresenta-se como proposta acadêmica, justificando-se como o diálogo com o artista, por meio de aplicação de questionário semi-estruturado. Conversações com Baravelli: o ofício contínuo do pensar e do fazer, que se apresenta em duas peças - uma primeira descritiva e outra com imagens/textos-, pretende investigar os elementos visuais compositivos, a formação do artista, e seus procedimentos de criação. Esta pesquisa divide-se em cinco capítulos, a saber: Os elementos significativos na formação do trabalho de Luiz Paulo Baravelli; Os conceitos de desenho; Luiz Paulo Baravelli e seu tempo histórico; Os cadernos de anotações visuais e a obra entregue ao público, e Algumas contribuições de Luiz Paulo Baravelli. Nos capítulos, apresentam-se os processos poéticos do artista, a seleção dos documentos visuais e a investigação dos seus conceitos. A pesquisa estrutura-se na área de concentração das poéticas visuais e na linha de pesquisa dos processos de criação em artes visuais. O aporte teórico adotado sustenta-se em leituras de pesquisadores da área e inserção de citações ao longo dos capítulos; os autores que fundamentam a escrita são estudiosos com trabalhos desenvolvidos em linha de pesquisa dos processos de criação em artes visuais, nas áreas da comunicação e história da arte dialogando com a pesquisa. Depoimentos e citações de Baravelli fazem parte do corpo do trabalho, e foram selecionadas em entrevistas, declarações cedidas pessoalmente, e artigos da imprensa. Tyrimo objektas - ontogenetiniai vaizdinio mąstymo ugdymo ypatumai Tyrimo tikslas – nustatyti ontogenetinius vaizdinio mąstymo ugdymo ypatumus Tyrimo imtis ir organizavimas. Tyrimo imtis gauta taikant imties skaičiavimo formulę. Tyrime dalyvavo 300 septynerių-aštuonerių metų vaikai, 295 keturiolikos-penkiolikos metų paaugliai, 307 dvidešimties-dvidešimt vienų metų studentai. Tai visiškai atitinka imties reikalavimus, todėl manoma, jog tyrimo duomenys bus validūs ir būdingi Šiaulių miesto visų galimų tiriamųjų populiacijai. Iš viso tyrime dalyvavo 903 tiriamieji. Surinkta 5418 piešinių. Tyrimui naudoti 12 spalvų pieštukai ir A4 formato per pusę perkirpti lapai. Tiriamieji turėjo spalvų ir formų pagalba atvaizduoti 6 sąvokas, parinktas pagal Osdgood semantinio diferencialo metodiką. Išvados 1. Vaizdinis mąstymas yra vaizdinių mentalinių operacijų sistema, talpinanti visus, su vaizdu susijusius vidinius ir išorinius psichikos veiksmus. Jį sudaro vaizdinė percepcija, vaizduotė ir vizualizacija, kai žmogus operuoja vidiniais ir išoriniais vaizdiniais. 2. Ikimokyklinio amžiaus vaikų vaizdinio mąstymo ugdymui skiriama kur kas daugiau būdų (metodų) nei kitoms amžiaus grupėms, nes šiame tarpsnyje vaizdinis mąstymas skirstomas į postruktūras, kurias lavinti ir formuoti reikia skirtingais būdais. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / Visual thinking is essential for all people living in post-modern age where the visual information is growing as quicker as it is possible and human must have competences to comprehend and evaluate visual codes critically. At least there are few discussions in the training of visual thinking field that is why it is important to explore this area which can help for educators to organize more teaching process in all levels of the education. Also it is still unknown the ontogenetic aspects of visual thinking – what is typical for visual thinking in childhood of primary school and in younger and older adolescence? What are the possible views that are forming ontogenetically? What might be recommended for educators for visual thinking training? According to these questions there was formulated the object of the research – the ontogenetic aspects of visual thinking training The goal of the research – to estimate ontogenetic aspects of visual thinking training Methodology of the research. Partant du constat que le monde dans lequel nous vivons requiert, pour le comprendre, l’élaboration d’une pensée critique efficace, cette thèse analyse, par le biais du mode littéraire du récit de détection, l’itinéraire de la pensée de Chesterton comme méthode de raisonnement et ensemble de stratégies intellectuelles. De la même manière que Descartes proposait d’exposer sa méthode « pour bien conduire sa raison, et chercher la vérité dans les sciences » (Discours de la méthode), nous exposons ici les mécanismes d’une manière de penser originale. En convoquant son imagination et sa « philosophie des contes de fées », Chesterton redécouvre ce qui lui était familier, voit au-delà des apparences et échappe à la folie, qu’il redéfinit comme la conséquence de l’isolement de la raison pure. Sa pensée visuelle, progressant par métaphores, analogies et paradoxes, est une pensée visionnaire, capable de renverser les perspectives pour mieux voir le monde et en saisir le sens. La pensée chestertonienne, fuyant toute forme d’isolement et de solipsisme, se construit sur différents modes dialogiques : Chesterton pense toujours avec ou contre d’autres sujets pensants, d’autres formes de pensée, et invite son lecteur à le suivre dans ce cheminement intellectuel. / As Critical thinking appears more and more vital to understand the world we live in, this study resorts to detective fiction considered in its literariness to analyse the itinerary of Chesterton’s mind, both as a method of reasoning and a set of intellectual strategies. In the same way as Descartes set out his method “of rightly conducting one’s reason and of seeking truth in the sciences” (The Discourse on the Method), we intend to show the mechanisms underlying an original way of thinking. By summoning his imagination and his “ethics of elfland”, Chesterton rediscovers the things he was familiar with, sees beyond appearances, and avoids madness, which he redefines as the consequence of the isolation of pure reason. His visual mind, which progresses by way of metaphors, analogies and paradoxes, is a visionary mind that can reverse perspectives in order to see the world better and grasp its meaning. By keeping away from any form of isolation or solipsism, the Chestertonian way of thinking operates according to different dialogic modes – Chesterton always thinks with or against other thinking subjects or other forms of thinking, and invites his reader to follow him on this intellectual path.

La lumière naturelle est une préoccupation forte dans la conception du projet architectural. Elle a une grande influence sur le confort visuel et la qualité architecturale des espaces intérieurs. Plusieurs méthodes et outils ont été développés pour assister les architectes dans la conception des ambiances lumineuses. L’analyse de ces différentes méthodes et outils montre qu’ils sont peu adaptés à l’activité de formulation des intentions des concepteurs durant les premières phases de conception.Dans le cadre de cette thèse, notre objectif est d’améliorer ces premières phases de conception en apportant aux concepteurs une aide pour la formalisation de leurs intentions d’ambiances lumineuses. L’objectif poursuivi étant de faire de la lumière naturelle un fil conducteur dans le développement du projet architectural.L’étude de la pratique des concepteurs durant les premières phases de conception fait apparaître qu’ils font fréquemment appel à des références jouant le rôle de dispositifs heuristiques. L’analyse des caractéristiques de ces références et de leur évocation montre que les images comme formes de référence favorisent l’expression des désirs, des souhaits et des intentions du concepteur. L’assistance à l’activité de référenciation par les images serait donc une aide précieuse dans la formalisation des intentions pour la prise en compte de la lumière naturelle dans la conception de projet.Nous développons une méthode fondée sur la constitution d’une base d’images références représentatives des ambiances lumineuses et sur un environnement de manipulation et exploration particulière de cette base. Pour ce faire, nous considérons d’une part le rôle de l’image-référence comme élément actif du raisonnement visuel et d’autre part, les aspects du processus de référenciation notamment dans un mode de raisonnement analogique.Cette méthode a été implémentée dans un outil prototype dénommé « day@mbiance ». Cet outil propose une base d’images composée de photographies illustrant des espaces intérieurs en éclairage naturel. Ces dernières sont indexées à partir d’un thésaurus original dédié aux « ambiances lumineuses ». L’outil, par ailleurs, expérimente différents modes de navigation par l’image qui sont définis de manière à stimuler les différentes activités cognitives dans chacune des phases du processus de référenciation.Enfin, la méthode développée a été testée lors d’une phase expérimentale qui a validé les éléments méthodologiques développés / The natural light is a strong concern in the design of an architectural project. It has a great influence on visual comfort and architectural quality of interior spaces. Several methods and tools have been developed to assist architects in the design of bright atmospheres. Analysis of these different methods and tools showed that they are not well adapted to the designers activity during the early stages of design. In this thesis, our objective is to enhance the early stages of design by providing designers with a support for the formalization of their intentions of bright atmospheres. The aim is to make natural light a thread in the development of the architectural project. The study of the practice of designers during the early stages of design has shown that they frequently use references acting as heuristic devices. Analysis of the characteristics of these references and their evocation showed that images, as type of references, promote the expression of desires, wishes and intentions of the designer. Assistance to the activity of referring by the images would be a valuable aid in the formalization of intentions to include the natural light into the project design. We developed a method based on developping an image database of representative references of bright atmosphere and supported with a handling environment and exploration of this particular base. To achieve this, we consider, in the one hand, the role of the reference-image as the active item of visual reasoning and, on the other hand, aspects of referring process, specially, in a mode of analogical reasoning. This method has been implemented in a prototype tool called « day@mbiance ». This tool provides an image database composed of photographs of interior spaces with natural lighting. These images are indexed using an original thesaurus dedicated to « bright atmosphere ». The tool also experiments different modes of navigation through images that are defined in order to stimulate different cognitive activities in each stage of the referring process

Ce projet de recherche a pour objectif de mieux cerner le champ de la pratique clinique en psychothérapie utilisant des médiations artistiques. En outre, il vise à interroger la position du psychothérapeute dans un contexte de soin avec une médiation artistique (peinture, dessin, modelage). La situation clinique en art-thérapie possède deux caractéristiques qui la distingue d’une thérapie verbale : (1) le passage du face-à-face impliquant le contact visuel à une présence du clinicien hors du champ visuel du patient lorsqu’il est face au chevalet, (2) il y a la création d’un objet plastique sous le regard du clinicien. Cette recherche s’appuiera sur un travail d’analyse des concepts fondamentaux de la psychanalyse appliqués à la psychothérapie médiatisée et sur le développement de la notion « d’image critique ». Désigner l’image comme un lieu critique, c’est la considérer comme un lieu de mise en tension et de mise en crise du symptôme selon différentes logiques de symbolisation. L’hypothèse métapsychologique qui guide cette recherche est que les processus de symbolisation dans la construction de l’image plastique en séance s’appuient sur une situation intersubjective de partage de différents niveaux de symbolisation entre le thérapeute et le patient. Une étude de cas du suivi d’un patient constitue la méthode de cette recherche. / The goal of this research project is to define the scope of clinical practice in psychotherapy that uses artistic mediations. It also intends to examine the position of the psychotherapist in the context of care through an artistic mediation (painting, drawing, clay).The clinical situation in Art Therapy has two distinctive characteristics from verbal therapy: 1. the passage from a face to face interaction that implies a visual contact to the presence of the clinician outside the patient’s visual field once s/he is working at an easel, 2. the creation of a plastic object under the sight of a clinician.This research is based on a work of analysis of fundamental psychoanalytic concepts applied to mediated psychotherapy and on the development of the concept of “critical image.” To denote an image as critical is to consider it as a place of exerted tension and exerted crisis of a symptom according to different logics of symbolization. The meta-psychological hypothesis that guides my research relies on symbolization processes based on the inter-subjectivity of sharing different levels of symbolization between the therapist and the patient. A case study of a patient undergoing art therapy constitutes the methodology of this research.

[pt] A tese Fissuras da moldura colonial portuguesa: visualidade e visão de mundo na obra de José Luandino Vieira tem como objetivo interrogar as potencialidades narrativas que se abrem nas relações entre as formas plásticas e as imagens literárias construídas pelo escritor luso-angolano José Luandino Vieira em três obras distintas: no livro Papéis da Prisão (2015), compilação de 17 cadernos produzidos pelo autor durante o período de encarceramento vivido entre os anos de 1962 e 1971 e nos romances O livro dos rios. De rios velhos e guerrilheiros I (2006) e O livro dos guerrilheiros. De rios velhos e guerrilheiros II (2009). A intenção é compreender alguns recursos utilizados pelo escritor para enfrentar e transtornar a linguagem hegemônica da moldura colonial portuguesa, como a desnaturalização da língua portuguesa e a estratégia do pensamento visual que possibilita transfigurar a realidade. This study explores the predominant mathematical thinking style that students with academic talent used in solving mathematical problems. Thinking styles are preferences by subjects in the way of expressing mathematical skills against a task, in this case, visual, formal and integrated. We assessed 99 students from an academic support talent program, in a retrospective ex post facto study with only one group. We administered the questionnaire mathematical thinking styles of Borromeo-Ferri and determined that these students exhibited mostly an integrated style of thinking, which involves the use of symbols and verbal representations with visual expressions in solving mathematical exercises. Los estilos de pensamiento son preferencias por parte de los sujetos en la forma de expresar las habilidades frente a una tarea matemática, en este caso, visual, formal e integrado. En el marco de un estudio ex post facto retrospectivo de grupo único, se evaluó a un total de 99 estudiantes pertenecientes a un programa académico de apoyo al talento con el cuestionario Estilos de Pensamiento Matemático de Borromeo-Ferri. Los resultados indican que los estudiantes declararon orientarse hacia el estilo de pensamiento integrado, que supone el uso de simbología y representaciones verbales junto con expresiones visuales en la resolución de los ejercicios matemáticos, así como una significativa orientación a abordar los problemas de modo combinado, que supone considerar los problemas como un todo. / La présente étude établit le style de pensée mathématique prédominant utilisé par les étudiants ayant un talent académique dans la résolution de problèmes mathématiques. Les styles de pensée sont des préférences de la part des sujets sous la forme d’exprimer les capacités face à une tâche mathématique, dans ce cas, visuelle, formelle et intégrée. Dans une étude rétrospective sur un seul groupe ex post facto, un total de 99 étudiants appartenant à un programme de soutien aux talents universitaires ont été évalués, à qui le questionnaire Styles de Pensée mathématique de Borromeo-Ferri a été appliqué et déterminé que ce type de sujets déclare principalement un style de pensée intégré, ce qui implique l’utilisation de la symbologie et des représentations verbales ainsi que des expressions visuelles dans la résolution des exercices mathématiques. En outre, ils montrent une forte orientation pour aborder les problèmes de manière combinée, ce qui implique de les considérer dans leur ensemble dans le même temps. / Este estudo estabelece o estilo predominante do pensamento matemático usado por os alunos com talento acadêmico na resolução de problemas matemáticos. Os estilos de pensamento são as preferências dos indivíduos sobre a forma para expressar as capacidades em uma tarefa matemática, neste caso, visual, formal e integrada. Como parte de um estudo ex post facto retrospectivo de grupo único, foram avaliados um total de 99 estudantes de um programa de talento acadêmico. Foram aplicados nos alunos o questionário “Estilos de Pensamento Matemático de Borromeo-Ferri” e determinou-se que a maioria dos participantes declararam um estilo de pensamento integrado, que envolve o uso de símbolos e representações verbais com resolução de expressões visuais de exercícios matemáticos. Eles mostram também uma forte orientação para resolver os problemas de modo combinado, o qual envolve a considerá-los como um todo de uma vez.

[pt] A pesquisa situa-se no contexto nacional da educação superior em design. Refere-se às formas de representação visual a partir de indagações de Elliot Eisner. Consta de uma série de estudos qualitativos aplicados entre 2011 e 2016 em sala de aula da licenciatura em design gráfico da Universidade Iberoamericana da Cidade do México. Utiliza procedimentos de observação participativa do fenômeno ensino-aprendizagem. Alguns dos objetivos da pesquisa são: identificar as principais características que evidenciam o desenvolvimento de competências, habilidades e capacidades na representação visual através do desenho e do esboço. Os resultados obtidos contribuem para a avaliação de alunos no credenciamento das instituições educativas de nível superior. / [en] This research responds to the national context of higher education in the field of design with respect to the teaching and learning of forms of visual representation. It is based on Elliot Eisner s analytical approach. The thesis consists of a series of qualitative studies applied between 2011 and 2016 in the Universidad Iberoamericana s Bachelor of Graphic Design program, and in which the author engaged in the participant observation of the teaching-learning dynamic in drawing and sketching classes. The dissertation identifies the principal characteristics related to the development of competencies, skills and capacities in the visual representation of drawing and sketching. The evidence obtained is useful for the purposes of student evaluation and for the accreditation of institutions of higher education. / [es] La investigación responde al contexto nacional de la educación superior del diseño sobre las formas de representación visual y se basa en el enfoque de la indagación de Elliot Eisner. La tesis consta de una serie de estudios cualitativos aplicados entre 2011 y 2016 en la licenciatura de diseño gráfico de la Universidad Iberoamericana a través de la observación participativa del fenómeno enseñanzaaprendizaje del dibujo y el bocetaje. La investigación identifica las principales características que evidencian el desarrollo de competencias, habilidades y capacidades en la representación visual del dibujo y el bocetaje. Las evidencias obtenidas sirven para la evaluación de los alumnos y para la acreditación de las instituciones educativas a nivel superior.
