An assessment was made of 48 undergraduate courses, with a view to offer guidelines and propose criteria for library evaluation. The methodological approach included an analysis of the standards of quality concerning the university library, as well as investigations directed towards the aspects of quality of these standards. It was observed that many models are adapted and do not represent a systematic investigation of the standards of quality in this area. A reference model is proposed to meet the need for more consistent guidelines to direct the undertaking of such evaluation processes. It is concluded that the establishment and organization of a standard of quality for the library sector is fundamental for evaluation and attainment of standards of excellence. / A presente disserta??o aborda a import?ncia da biblioteca universit?ria, sua finalidade junto ?s institui??es de Ensino Superior e a necessidade de se estabelecer um sistema de avalia??o adequado, visando seu melhor aproveitamento e, conseq?entemente, facilitando as condi??es de ensino. Foram avaliados 48 cursos de gradua??o, objetivando oferecer subs?dios e propor crit?rios para essa avalia??o. A metodologia para estes resultados inclui an?lise dos padr?es de qualidade no que tange ? biblioteca universit?ria e ?s pesquisas direcionadas para os aspectos da qualidade desses padr?es. Constata-se que muitos modelos, para tanto, s?o adapta??es desprovidas de uma pesquisa sistem?tica dos padr?es de qualidade para a ?rea. Prop?e-se um padr?o de refer?ncia para guiar a realiza??o desses processos de avalia??o. The research has had as objective the institution administrative sections and it was answered by leaders and their subordinates of these sections, aiming at an analysis of the results where was possible to identify the need of adjustments in the information politics of the University, from the qualification of the responsible for managing the information until the improvement of the Information Systems. To study the influence of advertising campaigns is the need to check which factors contribute to the choice of a Higher Education Institution (HEI), by students. The evolution of information technology has caused great impact and changing the mode of communication of the human being, which the field of higher education is also impacted, as educational organizations have to follow the changes in the market, however adapt to them while competitive strategy. It can be concluded that the vestibular advertising campaigns posted on the social network Facebook of the surveyed HEI, not present compelling content to the perception of the relevant public, representing little interactivity and almost no engagement features that could establish a relationship of dialogue advocated by semiotic theory Peirce. / Esta disserta????o investiga a representatividade das campanhas publicit??rias de vestibular de tr??s Institui????es de Ensino Superior Privadas de Bras??lia (Universidade Cat??lica de Bras??lia ??? UCB, Centro Universit??rio Euro-Americano ??? UNIEURO e Faculdade Proje????o), no Facebook, assim como na sociedade mediatizada e massiva que acessa as redes sociais, na atualidade. Outras institui????es tamb??m s??o referenciadas, em especial, no engajamento de suas campanhas publicit??rias para com o p??blico que ir?? prestar vestibular, a fim de se constatar como esse tipo de publicidade exerce alguma representatividade com o p??blico acad??mico. Estudar o potencial de constru????o da linguagem das campanhas publicit??rias passa pela necessidade de verificar quais fatores contribuem para a escolha de uma Institui????o de Ensino Superior ??? IES pelos alunos. However, this segment has been the subject of ethics, aesthetics and environmental criticism, especially so-called "fast fashion", a high-speed production system, integrated with information technology, which manages releases, sales, inventory and manufacturing clothes, turning datasheets of garments in a finished product within points of sale in a few days. The fast fashion phemomenon settled in the fashion industry in the last decades of the twentieth century as a result of the dynamics of global capitalism in search of lower cost and reduced production, time, space, distribution and sale. The fast fashion, however, has been socially criticised as it?s based on precarious work and promoting hyper consumption which leads to quick disposal of clothing, consumption of natural resources at breakneck scale and also the standardization of the body and spread a subtle homogenization of the appearance, promoted by the fashion media. The research has mapped and analysed the relationship between fashion and social criticism, with emphasis on appearance, construction and current settings of the ethical criticism and aesthetics to fast fashion. It has also mapped and analysed some answers that the market has given to such criticism, as well as alternative proposals built by various social groups, in particular the slow fashion movement: its concept, ideas and production proposals, consumption and engagement. From the politicization of consumption and macro trends that are configured as a socio-cultural background of the fashion consumption trends, we see the various forms of expression of these criticisms and seek to understand its incorporation into the market. For this, we rely on the theoretical framework of Boltanski and Chiapello (2009), which considers the incorporation of criticism as necessary to the moral justification of capitalism and its maintenance. The results indicate that the criticisms are expressed and are incorporated by fashion design professional, in consumption practices. in the pursuit of sustainable business forms, creating value associated with the shared economy, the adoption of Corporate Social Responsibility, in changes in production processes and the use of lower-impact materials. We also verified that as a way of incorporating criticism as a counterpoint to the hegemonic practices of production and consumption, the movement "slow fashion" proposes not only deceleration time of production and consumption of clothes, but also empowerment and political activism in the area of fashion design. In conclusion, the research identified as a response to criticism, the existence of changes in the sector and the growing ethicization fashion. / A moda e a ind?stria t?xtil constituem um dos maiores segmentos de neg?cios do mundo. Associadas simbioticamente, chamamos este campo de ind?stria da moda. O segmento vem sendo alvo de cr?ticas ?ticas, est?ticas e ambientais. Estas cr?ticas se dirigem, principalmente, ao que tem sido chamado de ?moda r?pida?, ou fast fashion, um sistema de produ??o de alta velocidade, integrado ?s tecnologias de informa??o, que gerencia lan?amentos, vendas, estoques e manufatura de roupas, transformando fichas t?cnicas de pe?as de vestu?rio em um produto acabado dentro de pontos de venda em poucos dias. O fast fashion ? uma consequ?ncia das din?micas do capitalismo global em busca do menor custo, em um menor espa?o de tempo de fabrica??o, distribui??o e venda, baseando-se em trabalho prec?rio (muitas vezes em condi??es an?logas ? escravid?o), na promo??o do hiperconsumo e do descarte r?pido de roupas e, consequentemente, do consumo de recursos naturais em escala vertiginosa, com impactos ambientais de grande extens?o, e, ainda, na padroniza??o do corpo e na difus?o de uma sutil homogeneiza??o do parecer, promovida pelas m?dias de moda. Tais pr?ticas se estabeleceram na moda nas ?ltimas d?cadas do s?culo XX como consequ?ncia das transforma??es do capitalismo global. A presente pesquisa mapeou e analisou as rela??es entre a moda e a cr?tica, o surgimento, a constru??o e as atuais configura??es da cr?tica ?tica e est?tica ao fast fashion e as respostas que o mercado vem dando ?s mesmas, assim como as propostas alternativas constru?das por segmentos do mercado, em especial, o movimento ?moda lenta?, ou slow fashion: seu conceito, ideias e propostas de produ??o, consumo e engajamento. A partir da an?lise da politiza??o do consumo e das macrotend?ncias, que se configuram como um pano de fundo sociocultural ?s tend?ncias de consumo, verificamos a express?o destas cr?ticas e sua incorpora??o pelo corpo social; identificamos a? uma chave explicativa para a incorpora??o das cr?ticas pelo mercado de moda, corroborando com o quadro te?rico de Boltanski e Chiapello (2009), que entende a incorpora??o das cr?ticas como necess?ria ? justifica??o moral do capitalismo e sua manuten??o. The objectives of this study were: Analyze theoretical and structural milestones of graduation nursing curriculum of public universities in the State of Rio Grande do Norte; Identify the theoretical milestone and training models that guide the structural milestones of nursing curriculum courses of public universities studied; Analyze the training concepts of curriculums from the voices of the coordinators of the courses. This is a qualitative study, analytical, with discussions of the documentary and empirical research. Ten teachers participated who act as coordinators of the graduation courses in nursing or academic advisors, in UFRNCentral Campus in Natal and Health Sciences College (Facisa), in Santa Cruz-and on UERN -Campus Caic?, Mossor? and Pau dos Ferros. The information collected by interview was analyzed by sociology or symbolic cartography of Boaventura de Sousa Santos. The research was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the UERN by the CAAE: 03610912.7.0000.5294. All the participants signed the Free Consent and clarified Term The results and discussion were presented in four scientific articles. The first article, titled the Pedagogical projects in nursing analysis in the light of the symbolic cartography, features the use of cartographic method in the researches and in the study of nursing curriculums. In the article The Analysis of theoretical-philosophical, structural and referential milestones in nursing curriculums, these milestones are renowned in curriculums of UERN and UFRN. The main challenges faced in the implementation of supervised internship in nursing provide a reflection on the difficulties that the internship supervisors present, especially with the relationship between education/service and the articulation theory/practice. In the last article are discussed the changes in nursing training from the former student profile, who won a boost from the curricular changes proposed by the national curriculum guidelines. The study concluded, by the analysis of theoretical and structural milestones of nursing curriculum courses of public universities of Rio Grande do Norte, that there is an explicit intention to train nurses for the health system and a search on innovative teaching projects in accordance with the national curriculum guidelines for the area of nursing. The thesis defended in this investigation was that the curriculum of public institutions of higher education in nursing in the State of Rio Grande do Norte advanced from a training focusing on biologicist model, flexneriana guidelines, for teaching able to articulate the health with the social, political and cultural issues / Esta pesquisa teve como quest?o norteadora: Quais os marcos te?ricos e estruturais do curr?culo de gradua??o em enfermagem das universidades p?blicas no estado do Rio Grande do Norte? The central hypothesis is that, although all changes occured in the credit norms, in order to reduce the existing obstacles for the access of outsiders, the same institucional arrangement remains which gave support to the modernization - crystallizer of strengthening structures of this exclusion. The most relevant pressuposition is that the poor agriculturists are the most displayed to the institucional limitations. The concepts of institucional arrangements and environments used in this work had been constructed with support of the institucional school, contemplating itself the economic dimension, the organizational sociology and political science. In the relation of the institucional changes with the state performance, the theorist reading was important that reflect on the relative autonomy of the State and studious of the Brazilian State. The empirical part consisted of a research which had been applied questionnaires with benefited and non-benefited agriculturists with PRONAF B, in thirteen cities of Rio Grande do Norte. In each city, interviews with four of its main mediators had been carried out. The research results had ratified the hypothesis of the work of that the conception of the public policies does not take in account the institution role in the behavior and the choices of the individual and collective agents, inferring itself that this policy, as others, lacks of mediation that exceed the rationality of legal landmarks / Este trabalho tem por objetivo estudar o ambiente institucional para a implementa??o de pol?ticas de financiamento direcionadas ? agricultura familiar. A hip?tese central ? que, apesar de todas as mudan?as ocorridas nas normas de cr?dito, no sentido de reduzir os obst?culos existentes para o acesso dos outsiders, permanece o mesmo arranjo institucional que deu apoio ? moderniza??o cristalizador de estruturas refor?adoras dessa exclus?o. O pressuposto mais relevante ? que os agricultores pobres s?o os mais expostos ?s limita??es institucionais. Os conceitos de arranjo institucional e de ambiente institucional utilizados neste trabalho foram constru?dos com apoio da escola institucional, contemplando-se a dimens?o econ?mica, a sociologia das organiza??es e a ci?ncia pol?tica. Na rela??o das mudan?as institucionais com a atua??o estatal, foi importante a leitura de te?ricos que refletem sobre a autonomia relativa do Estado e de estudiosos do Estado Brasileiro. A parte emp?rica constou de uma pesquisa em que foram aplicados question?rios com agricultores beneficiados e n?o beneficiados com o PRONAF B, em treze munic?pios do Rio Grande do Norte. Considering formal rules are the same, then why such results are so distinguished? This research supports the fact that these results are a direct consequence of the quality of institutions defined as longstanding social rules established and built in social interactions. For institutions one understands; organizational structures, formal and non-formal rules, social trust, thinking behaviors and its evolution as well as routines. Using Pronaf Rural Credit as a background this study measures and compares results obtained in the rural areas of Serid?, Sert?o do Apodi, Mato Grande, Ass?-Mossor?, Trairi, Potengi and Alto Oeste. The dimensions of measurement considered were: economics, social and guarantee of transparency. The study considers a sample of 402 Group B farming families. It was conducted in six Public Institutions of Long Residence for Seniors, in the municipality of Natal - RN, in the period of July to August 2007. The data was collected using two structured interview forms: the first, containing questions about socio-demographic aspects and the second - the WHOQUOL-OLD, prepared by the World Health Organization to assess elderly s quality of life. The reference population was 266 old persons, and a random sample, of 43, being 28 women and 15 men, who account for 30%. The results indicated there is a predominance of older women (65.1%) and the average age is 76.6 years; the predominant religion is the Catholic - 44.2% and, 32.6% are unmarried without children. As for schooling and precedence, 41.9% are illiterate and 67.4% come from the rural area. The time of residency in the institution goes between 1 to 5 years for 69.8% of the elderly, 37.2% of them residing in the institution for not having another option. Most elderly informed using medicines. 51.3% said they are taking anti-hypertensive. As for the other aspects of QL: sensory aspects, autonomy, past, present and future activities, social participation, death and dying and intimacy, the WHOQOL-OLD, showed an average total score of 52.9% (scale of 0 to 100), with a tendency to neutrality, denoting that the elderly, in this study, evaluated their QL as neither satisfactory or unsatisfactory. Of all the facets of the instrument of QL, the sensory facet secured the highest average scores (68,1%), showing that the elderly are "happy" in the situation in which they find themselves, not showing significant disabilities. The facet of autonomy, which refers to the independence and the ability to make decisions on their own life, received the lowest average scores (40.7%), showing the dissatisfaction of the elderly on this aspect. The evaluation of the elderly on other facets were: social participation (48.2%); activities past, present and future (44.6%) and intimacy (50.6%), all perceived as neither unsatisfactory or satisfactory. On the item death and dying, the elderly people declared themselves satisfied, with average score of 65.5%. The analysis of the reliability of the WHOQOL-OLD by the Cronbach Alpha showed 0.57, considering the 24 items that cover the instrument, showing regular internal reliability of the instrument, in our reality. The result is probably due to differences between the regions south and east and the broader sociocultural diversity. Foi realizado em seis Institui??es P?blicas de Longa Perman?ncia para Idosos, no Munic?pio de Natal RN, no per?odo de julho a agosto de 2007. Para a coleta dos dados, foi utilizada a entrevista estruturada, guiada por dois formul?rios: o primeiro contendo quest?es acerca dos aspectos s?cio-demogr?ficos e o segundo, o WHOQUOL-OLD, elaborado pela Organiza??o Mundial de Sa?de, para avaliar a qualidade de vida em pessoas idosas. A popula??o de refer?ncia foi de 266 idosos, e uma amostra aleat?ria simples, de 43 idosos, 28 mulheres e 15 homens, que correspondem a 30%. Os resultados indicaram haver predomin?ncia de mulheres idosas (65,1%) e m?dia de idade de 76.6 anos, predomin?ncia da religi?o cat?lica (44,2 %) e solteiros sem filhos (32,6%). Quanto ? escolaridade e ? proced?ncia, (41,9% n?o alfabetizados) e 67,4%, procedentes da zona rural. O tempo de resid?ncia na institui??o foi de 1 a 5 anos para 69,8% dos idosos, com 37,2% deles residindo na institui??o por n?o ter outra op??o de moradia. A maioria dos idosos informou fazer uso de medicamentos, sendo que, 51,3% afirmaram tomar anti-hipertensivos. Quanto aos aspectos da QV, referentes ?s facetas sensorial, autonomia, atividades passadas, presentes e futuras, participa??o social, morte e morrer e intimidade, do WHOQOL-OLD, observou-se um escore m?dio total de 52,9% (escala de 0 a 100), com tend?ncia ? neutralidade, denotando que os idosos, desse estudo, avaliaram sua QV como nem satisfat?ria, nem insatisfat?ria, Dentre as facetas do instrumento de QV, destaca-se a sensorial que obteve a maior m?dia dos escores (68,1%), revelando que os idosos referem-se como satisfeitos na situa??o em que se encontram, n?o apresentando defici?ncia significativa. Destacou-se, tamb?m, a faceta autonomia, que refere-se ? independ?ncia e ? capacidade de tomar decis?es e que obteve a menor m?dia dos escores (40,7%), mostrando a insatisfa??o dos idosos quanto a este quesito. A avalia??o dos idosos relativa ?s demais facetas foram: participa??o social (48,2%); atividades passadas, presentes e futuras (44,6%); e intimidade (50,6%), todas percebidas como nem insatisfat?rias nem satisfat?rias.Na faceta morte e morrer os idosos declaram-se satisfeitos, com escore m?dio 65,5%. The the 91,5 NPS varied of 57,9 dB(A) values above of recommended for classrooms in accordance with NBR 10152; NR 15; NR 17; It would carry n? 3214/1978, of the Ministry of the Work and searched literature. First, we performed a theoretical research on public organizations and private institutions of higher education, followed by a literature review on performance measurement and evaluation. This review presents some performance models that are quite frequent in the literature: Total Quality Management (Total Quality Management) - TQM and the PDCA cycle, SMART System, Balanced Scorecard and M?def Ouanturn. In order to verify the possibility of implementing a performance measurement model for Higher Education Institutions, it was conducted a case study in a support unit of a University, located in the city of Natal, RN, Brazil. The study attempted to identify the key processes of the unit and proposed by the use of Quantum model in order to improve the management and operation of the same. The work aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in measurement and performance evaluation in higher education institutions that where still lacks scientific production of this subject compared to other areas. This study also identifies better practices and opportunities for improvement in processes to determine the expected performance indicators to aid a decision-making unit. / O desempenho da administra??o p?blica ? um tema que tem recebido muita aten??o na literatura e por isso o objetivo deste trabalho ? elaborar uma proposta de um modelo de medi??o de desempenho para uma unidade de uma Institui??o de Ensino Superior. Primeiramente, foi realizada uma pesquisa te?rica sobre organiza??es p?blicas e em particular as Institui??es de Ensino Superior, seguida de uma revis?o bibliogr?fica sobre medi??o e avalia??o de desempenho. Nessa revis?o s?o apresentados alguns modelos de desempenho bastante frequentes na literatura: Gest?o da Qualidade Total (Total Quality Management - TQM e ciclo PDCA, Sistema SMART, Balanced Scorecard e Modelo Quantum. Com a finalidade de verificar a possibilidade de aplicar um modelo de medi??o de desempenho para Institui??es de Ensino Superior (IES), foi realizado um estudo de caso em uma unidade de suporte de uma Universidade Federal, localizada na cidade do Natal, RN, Brasil. O estudou procurou identificar os principais processos e prop?s a utiliza??o do modelo Quantum com o objetivo de melhorar a gest?o e a operacionaliza??o dos mesmos. O trabalho procura contribuir para o avan?o do conhecimento em medi??o e avalia??o de desempenho em Institui??es de Ensino Superior sendo ainda escassa a produ??o cient?fica do assunto quando comparada com outras ?reas. Este estudo al?m de identificar as boas pr?ticas e as oportunidades de melhoria nos processos espera determinar os indicadores de desempenho que auxiliem o processo decis?rio da unidade.
