Nyhetsförmedling i medieteknologisk utveckling : En jämförande studie mellan SVT nyheters nyhetsförmedling på webben och på Instagram; med fokus på rapportering om coronaviruset

I rapporten jämförs nyhetsrapporteringen på SVT nyheters webbsida och Instagram för att sekonsekvenserna av dess skillnader och likheter i relation till medieteknologins utveckling.Undersökningens material är en intervju, statistik i form av frekvens av nyhetsuppdateringarsamt en jämförande fallstudie där två nyheter som publicerats på båda plattformarna analyserasutifrån läsbarhetsindex och visuell textanalys. Resultatet visar att SVT nyheters redaktionellaarbete anpassats till medieteknologins utveckling genom att bland annat ha en redaktionsgruppmed ansvar för sociala medier. Nyheterna publiceras med skillnad i innehåll på plattformarnaoch anledningen framkommer dels som redaktionens avsikter, dels som Instagrams möjlighettill interaktion. Slutsatserna är att redaktionens anpassning till medieteknologins utvecklingbidrar till att verksamheten förblir aktuell i det digitaliserade samhället. Skillnaden inyhetsinnehåll på plattformarna beror på publikens önskemål samt skillnaden i hur nyheternarapporteras och ligger främst i språkhandlingarna där nyheterna på Instagram erbjuder vidareinformation som finns i artiklarna på webbsidan. Sammanfattningsvis fungerar webbsidan somhuvudsaklig nyhetsförmedlare genom sitt varierade nyhetsinnehåll, medan Instagram främstrapporterar om publikönskade nyheter. Skillnaden utgör även plattformarnas samspel.

During the Corona Pandemic 2020/2021, upper secondary education in Sweden is periodically conducted at a distance. This narrative study aims to create knowledge about how this affects the teaching of the aesthetic program’s theater education from a student perspective; through the students' stories from distance education, we can get information about how the students experience effects on drive, interaction and learning in Theater. A socio-cultural and relational perspective permeates the essay and the ten informants' stories are linked to governing documents, previous research in theater didactics, didactic design and digitization, digital tools in drama and theater teaching and reports from authorities on the impact of distance education on teaching and learning. The result is presented in two parts, a chronological and a thematic story. The analysis shows that students generally have difficulties related to motivation and creativity during periods of digital education. Students in need of special support are particularly affected when they don’t receive the help they need to establish routines and get started with their tasks. The interaction between students and between students and teachers has weakened significantly as the students work alone at home and this affects both their well-being and mental state. Group development stagnates or regresses when the students don’t have joint theater projects and do not meet in real life. However, there are individual differences; students with social anxiety have been helped by the distance education and many students believe that they have, after all, learned what they should, because they have implemented the planned elements in some form. A discussion about online theater teaching, development of didactic digital tools, loss of knowledge and the students' social situation during distance education ends the essay.

The outbreak of the corona pandemic has led to various restrictions within society and thus also within higher education. In March of 2020, all teaching at colleges and universities in Sweden became remote. This included library instruction. The aim of this study was to describe the teaching academic librarian’s role due to the corona pandemic and the transition to distance education it has entailed. The study applied Huvila’s terms work role and work task together with Kuhlthau’s levels of instruction as well as a model of emerging roles for academic librarians identified by Vassilakaki and Moniarou-Papaconstantinou as its theoretical framework. A mainly qualitative study was carried out. A questionnaire was sent to teaching academic librarians nationally. This resulted in 61 responses. Data gathered were analysed using conventional content analysis. The study’s results indicate that the role has changed due to changes in how tasks are carried out, for example how the library instruction is carried out, cooperation with faculty, requirements regarding technological competence, the use of digital learning resources and how the students’ needs are highlighted. The study’s results also indicate that this transformation will remain to some extent, and that blended learning will become more common.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine how libraries meet the challenges that have arisen with the outbreak of corona pandemic and how the democratic mission during this period has been discussed in Swedish library journals. In order to answer this we formulated following questions:  - What obstacles are discussed during the corona pandemic regarding the democratic mission of libraries?  - How is the democratic mission of libraries to contribute with knowledge and free opinion formation perceived during a crisis?  The material is analysed through concepts of freedom of speech and free opinion formation and Robert Dahl's criteria of enlightened understanding. The results show that there were opposite opinions about how to achieve the democratic values of the libraries during the pandemic. Subjects that were highly occurring concerned the digital divide, how to reach out to the library users during the circumstances and how to supply the users with information. We found that these subjects are highly related to the democratic mission of the libraries and that the pandemic brought them up to light.

This study employs text analysis to explore how the Swedish government framed the climate issue during 2019 and the year of the covid pandemic, 2020. The study aims to encounter eventual changes in the framing of the climate issue using the following research question: how did the Swedish government frame the climate issue during 2019 versus 2020 during the covid-19-pandemic? Maybe the perceived acuteness of the pandemic managed to outrival the climate crisis from the government's agenda. If the climate issue vanished from their agenda, it might jeopardize former environmental successes. The results are considered relevant to studies concerning framing, agenda-setting, and crisis since controlling just one of the parallel crises might aggravate the effects of the second one. And the growing public worry regarding climate change also seems to provide relevancy to the study. The study concludes that climate policy was the Swedish government's top issue during 2019. In 2020 they described the climate issue in more severe terms than in 2019 while simultaneously prioritizing the pandemic before the climate issue.

Svenska myndigheters hantering av informationssäkerheten vid distansarbete under coronapandemin : En intervjustudie med företrädare för fem myndigheter

The global Coronavirus pandemic that started in December of 2019 has had a great impact on the way companies and governmental agencies conduct their business. This has forced a majority of the workforce to start working from home. How can organizations ensure that they maintain the same level of information security when they are no longer fully in control of their employees and their respective work environments? Through a series of interviews, we studied what problems Swedish governmental agencies encountered related to information security, and what solutions they employed to counteract said problems. These interviews were then analyzed using the general inductive approach, in conjunction with theoretical support from the CIA-triad. The conclusions we drew from our analysis of the interviews were that while they were somewhat prepared for this shift, they were also found to have lacking technical education for employees and problems finding necessary tools, such as video conferencing programs, that complied with Swedish and European law regarding the integrity of personal information. There is a collaborative investigation being conducted by a collection of Swedish governmental agencies that intends to solve these issues through finding legal alternatives that are compliant with applicable laws, which hopefully will standardize which tools are used by all agencies. We discuss the implications of these findings, and provide suggestions that may be of help to organizations that are trying to future-proof themselves against similar potential future events.

"Coronakrisen bär en kvinnas ansikte" : En studie över coronapandemins påverkan på våld mot kvinnor i nära relationer i Sverige

Sedan coronapandemins utbrott har ett flertal restriktioner införts i Sverige, vilka inneburit att människor stannat hemma i större utsträckning än tidigare. På grund av en växande isolering har kvinnorättsliga organisationer världen över varnat om en potentiell ökning av våld mot kvinnor i nära relationer, då konsekvenserna av pandemin ökar exponeringen av riskfaktorer som förknippas med våldet. Våld i nära relationer är tidvis svårt att mäta då det finns ett stort mörkertal av våldsutsatta som inte anmäler till polisen. Därmed prövar forskningsvärlden alternativa data som förväntas fånga en bredare bild av våldsutsattheten världen över, där Googlesökningar visat potential och därav använts till denna uppsats. Fastän tidigare forskning och teoretisk bakgrund förutspått att våldet ökat under pandemin, fann difference-in-difference resultaten ingen effekt på nationell nivå. Däremot tycks Googlesökningar ökat mer i Stockholms län, där människor stannat hemma i större utsträckning relativt andra län.

Frånvarostrategier i grundskolan innan och under Coronapandemin : En kvantitativ och kvalitativ studie ur ett lärarperspektiv

Denna studies syfte är att beskriva och kritiskt granska grundskollärares frånvarostrategier innan och under Coronapandemin, strategier som identifieras genom att göra en tematisk analys. Den tematiska analysen genererade tre huvudteman som fungerade för frånvarostrategier vid såväl elev- som lärarfrånvaro, dessa teman användes också för att formulera studiens forskningsfrågor: Vilka strategier kan identifieras för självständighet? Vilka strategier kan identifieras för stöd från pedagog? Vilka strategier kan identifieras för samarbete? Den insamlade empirin bestod av tio enkätfrågor där 37 verksamma lärare inom årskurs 1–6 från olika kommuner i Sverige besvarade studiens enkät. Enkätens resultat redovisades med univariat analys och tematisk analys. Resultaten visade att lärarna upplevde att elev- och lärarfrånvaro förekom i hög utsträckning under jämfört med innan Coronapandemin, samt att majoriteten av lärarna upplevde större problem med lärarfrånvaro än elevfrånvaro under pandemin. De frånvarostrategier som identifierades vid elevfrånvaro var självständighetsstrategier som att skicka hem uppgifter, strategier för pedagogiskt stöd som att erbjuda stöttning vid tillbakakomst, samt strategier för samarbete som kontakt med vårdnadshavare. Digitala hjälpmedel var vanligare under än innan pandemin för att tillgängliggöra undervisning för alla elever. Gällande lärarfrånvaron kompenserades den ofta genom samarbetsstrategier som att ta in vikarier från vikariepooler, strategier för pedagogiskt stöd som att lärare täcker upp för varandra, och självständighetsstategier som att arbeta extra.

Coronapandemins effekt på revisionsarvode för svenska noterade bolag

Coronapandemin är en pågående kris där de ekonomiska effekterna och inblandade faktorer för företag inte är helt klarlagda ännu. Teoretiska resonemang har förts kring om några av de effekter som sågs vid finanskrisen 2008–2009 (såsom förändrade revisionsarvoden) också kommer att ske till följd av coronapandemin. Studien syfte är att förklara om och isåfall hur coronapandemin påverkat noterade företags revisionsarvoden. Denna kvantitativa studie har utgått från deduktiv ansats för att pröva hypotes utifrån vetenskaplig teori. Datainsamling har gjorts från årsredovisningar från 187 företag på Stockholmsbörsen och Pearson r och OLS-regression har använts för att undersöka eventuella samband. Denna studie visar att coronapandemin har påverkat revisionsarvodet för svenska noterade bolag och att bidragande faktorer är storlek, komplexitet ochkonsultation.

The aim of this master’s thesis is to develop knowledge on librarians’ perceptions and experiences of working at a public library during the covid-19 pandemic. The lack of research in this area motivates this thesis. Six librarians from four different public libraries in Gothenburg were interviewed through semi-structured interviews. The empirical data was analyzed through a practice theoretical framework comprising three dimensions of practice referred to as the cultural-discursive, the social-political, and the material-economic dimensions. The result of the study shows that the librarians’ perceptions and experiences of working during the pandemic was that it was difficult, challenging, and that it contributed new knowledge. The difficulties and challenges are based on the fact that the librarians, due to the restrictions, no longer can help the visitors like they used to. In addition, the library as an open space is no longer available for the visitors, which is a problem since many people rely on the libraries offering computers and a place where one can study or just spend time. To be forced to deny the visitors help is the biggest difference according to the librarians. Further, the result shows that the pandemic enabled new ways of working and contributed to highlight the importance of public libraries.
