S’inscrivant dans une réflexion sociolinguistique et didactique, cette thèse propose de sonder les appropriations langagières et les imaginaires linguistiques de collégien-ne-s de la ville de Bozen-Bolzano dans le Sud- Tyrol/Haut-Adige. Dans cette Province italienne officiellement multilingue qui bénéficie d’un Statut de protection de la minorité germanophone, le vivre-ensemble est fortement marqué par la séparation des écoles sur une base ethnolinguistique. La présence relativement récente de migrants transnationaux invite à porter un regard renouvelé sur les dynamiques d’identification entre « autochtones » et « allochtones » et, plus particulièrement, à en considérer les implications au niveau éducatif. En donnant des appareils photos jetables à des collégien-nes de la ville de Bozen-Bolzano avec la mission de photographier « les langues du quartier » pour en faire une exposition, il s’agit d’interroger les façons dont, dans une ville qui semble incarner une certaine hybridité, des jeunes interprètent la pluralité qui les environne. / This thesis proposes to investigate the linguistic appropriations and the conceptualizations of language of secondary school students in the town of Bozen-Bolzano in South Tyrol / Alto Adige, as a sociolinguistic and didactic reflection. In this officially multilingual Italian province, which enjoys a status of protection of the German-speaking minority, living together is strongly marked by the separation of schools on an ethnolinguistic basis. The relatively recent presence of transnational migrants calls for a renewed look at the dynamics of identification between "indigenous" and "non-indigeneous" and, more particularly, its implications for education. By giving disposable cameras to secondary school students in the town of Bozen-Bolzano, a city that seems to embody a certain hybridism, with the mission of photographing "the languages of the neighborhood" to create an exhibition, the goal is to investigate the ways young people interpret the plurality that surrounds them.

Sob as cores da barbárie : o imaginário da segunda guerra mundial no horizonte literário brasileiro e português

Esta tese discute como Brasil e Portugal abordam em suas representações literárias o imaginário que envolve a Segunda Guerra Mundial. O estudo volta-se ao aspecto do combatente brasileiro em solo italiano, “o pracinha”, e à perspectiva do refugiado, vítima das perseguições antissemitas, que buscou asilo em terras lusitanas. Para tanto, procede-se ao exame das obras de Boris Schnaiderman, Guerra em surdina, e de Roberto de Mello e Souza, Mina R, no âmbito brasileiro. As narrativas analisadas no panorama português são “Nasci com passaporte de turista” e O cavalo espantado, de Alves Redol, “O mundo perdido”, de Joaquim Paço d’Arcos, e Sob céus estranhos, de Ilse Losa. De um lado, vislumbra-se a guerra em funcionamento, apontada nos romances brasileiros através da experiência coletiva e da experiência individual dos soldados (agentes e vítimas do aparato da guerra). De outro lado, aponta-se as consequências da guerra por meio dos desterrados que chegaram a Portugal e assumiram a voz narrativa para relatar suas trajetórias, o que se compreende como “a escrita do refugiado”.Os efeitos da guerra também são apresentados através do relato feito pela alteridade, destacado aqui como “o refugiado na escrita”. O aporte teórico conta, entre outras referências, com o artigo de Fredric Jameson, War and representation (2009), como suporte para a análise das representações bélicas nas duas literaturas. A partir disso, os retratos da guerra, apreendidos por meio do corpus selecionado nessa tese, exibem irascibilidade, desumanização e descaso como características desse “tempo sombrio” (ARENDT, 1991), além de abordarem o desalento próprio àqueles que passaram por vivências aterradoras, sejam eles os combatentes – como no caso brasileiro –, sejam os fugitivos das perseguições antissemitas – como no português. / This thesis discusses how Brazil and Portugal approach in their literary representations the imaginary that involves the Second World War. The study turns to the aspect of the Brazilian combatant on Italian soil, “the pracinha”, and the perspective of the refugee, a victim of anti-Semitic persecutions, who sought asylum in Lusitanian lands. To do so, the works of Boris Schnaiderman, Guerra em surdina, and Roberto de Mello e Souza, Mina R, are examined in the Brazilian context. The narratives analyzed in the Portuguese panorama are “Nasci com passaporte de turista” and O cavalo espantado, by Alves Redol, “O mundo perdido”, by Joaquim Paço d'Arcos, and Sob céus estranhos, by Ilse Losa. On the one hand, we can see the war in operation, pointed out in the Brazilian novels through the collective experience and individual experience of the soldiers (agents and victims of the apparatus of war). On the other hand, the consequences of the war are pointed out by the exiles who arrived in Portugal and took the narrative voice to report their trajectories, which is understood as “the writing of the refugee”. The effects of war are also presented through the account of alterity, here described as “the refugee in writing”. The theoretical contribution counts, among other references, the article by Fredric Jameson, War and representation (2009), as support for the analysis of warlike representations in the two literatures. From this, the portraits of war, seized through the corpus selected in this thesis, exhibit irascibility, dehumanization and neglect as characteristics of this “dark time” (ARENDT, 1991), as well as addressing the self-despondency of those who have experienced frightening experiences, be they combatants – as in the Brazilian case – are the fugitives of anti- Semitic persecutions – as in Portuguese.

A cultura afro-brasileira, de modo geral, tem sua herança perpassada e ressignificada a partir do imaginário construído com base no corpo negro, segundo apontou essa investigação e conforme situam as leis 10.639/03 e 11.645/08. Dessa maneira, essa pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, situada no tempo presente, objetivou desvendar o(s) caminho(s) pelo(s) qual (is) tem se formado concepções acerca do corpo negro afro-brasileiro no contexto educativo no município de Cachoeira/BA/Brasil. A questão norteadora seguiu o percurso da apreensão destas concepções no contexto educativo cachoeirano por meio da pesquisa histórica e bibliográfica, bem como aproximações com elementos da pesquisa etnográfica, documentação indireta, entrevistas e questionários semiestruturados. Consideramos e defendemos, como fundamental, destacar as manifestações culturais locais como elementos necessários ao contexto educativo formal, apontando essa questão como fundante no entendimento de identidade e pertença para cultura afrobrasileira, conforme nos demonstraram os educandos estudados. Faz-se necessário debruçar os olhos sobre este objeto de estudo no sentido de buscar caminhos de possibilitar maior visibilidade ao legado afrodescendente do Recôncavo Baiano que não somente sustentaram economicamente o estado durante muitas décadas do período colonial como lutaram pela causa da independência de nosso país. / ABSTRACT: This study comments the relationship between culture and imaginary of body constituted culturally in the context of formal education of Cachoeira city, Bahia, Brazil. Afro-brazilian culture, in general, has spread and re-signified its inheritance from imaginary constructed, based on the black body, according to this research and as both laws 10.639/03 and 11.645/08 points out. Thus, this qualitative research, located at the present time, aimed to reveal the way or ways by which conceptions have been formed about black afro-brazilian body in the educational context of the city of Cachoeira, Bahia, in Brasil. The guiding question followed the route of understanding of these conceptions in cachoeirano educational context, through history and literature as well as approaches to elements of ethnographic research, indirect documentation, semi-structured interviews and questionnaires. We have considered and defended as essential to highlight local cultural events as necessary elements to the formal educational context, pointing such question as foundational in understanding both identity and belonging to afro-brazilian culture, as it was demonstrated in the students studied. It is necessary to focus the eyes on the object of study in order to find ways to provide greater visibility to the legacy of afro-descedant from Reconcavo Baiano that not only has sustained economic status for many decades of the colonial period as fought for the cause of independence of our country.

360 graus : uma literatura de epifanias : o inventário astrológico de Caio Fernando Abreu

O interesse pela metafísica, pelo esoterismo, pelas filosofias orientais e pela Astrologia integrava a experiência pessoal do escritor Caio Fernando Abreu. O escritor utiliza elementos simbólicos, mitológicos e principalmente astrológicos em seu trabalho, ora como simples referência, ora como vetor na construção ficcional, de forma deliberada. Ao percorrermos a obra de Caio Fernando Abreu ao longo da linha de tempo, observase uma trajetória ascendente na utilização da linguagem astrológica. Desde os momentos iniciais, nas obras publicadas na década de 1970, o escritor utiliza os termos desta tradição, contextualizando as configurações astrais em seus enredos e perfis de personagens. Esse procedimento é definitivamente incorporado e ampliado nas obras da década de 1980, sendo aprofundado de forma diferenciada em Triângulo das águas, um livro inteiramente baseado em arquétipos astrológicos, segundo afirma o próprio autor. Essa abordagem é presente também nos livros publicados na década de 1990, inclusive nas edições póstumas. A dissertação analisa a hermenêutica simbólica em Triângulo das águas, buscando elucidar os sentidos profundos evocados pelas imagens arquetípicas ligadas à tradição da Astrologia presentes nos textos que constituem o livro e, assim, ampliar a sua compreensão. Intenta, também, a partir de uma revisão da obra completa de Caio Fernando Abreu - romances, contos, crônicas, peças teatrais -, identificar os traços do simbolismo astrológico ao longo de sua produção literária e os pontos de contato com Triângulo das águas, de modo a revelar novos significados. Ainda, a partir de depoimentos e entrevistas do escritor, enfoca a utilização da Astrologia como um procedimento intencional no seu processo de criação. Ao traçar uma breve revisão da fortuna crítica do autor, com ênfase na crítica e historiografia especializada e de fundo acadêmico, confirma-se a originalidade da abordagem empreendida neste trabalho. Como referencial teórico, foi utilizada a bibliografia específica da área da Astrologia, complementada por obras relativas à Mitologia, ao Símbolo, à História das Religiões e ao Imaginário. / The interest in Metaphysics, Esoterism, the Eastern philosophies and Astrology integrated the personal experience of the writer Caio Fernando Abreu. The writer uses symbolic, mythological and mainly astrological elements in his work, sometimes as a simple reference, or as a vector in the fictional construction, of deliberated form. When covering the work of Caio Fernando Abreu throughout the timeline, we observe an ascending trajectory in the use of the astrological language. Since the initial moments, in the works published in the decade of 1970, the writer uses the terms of this tradition, contextualizing the astral configurations in his plots and profiles of his characters. This procedure is definitively incorporated and extended in the works of the decade of 1980, in Triângulo das Águas (Triangle of waters), a book entirely based in astrological archetypes, as affirms the author himself. This approach is also present in the books published in the decade of 1990, including the posthumous editions. The dissertation analyzes the symbolic hermeneutics in Triângulo das águas, trying to elucidate the deepest meaning evoked by the archetypical images related to the tradition of Astrology present in the texts that constitute the book and, thus, to extend its understanding. It intends, also, from a revision of the collected works of Caio Fernando Abreu - novels, stories, chronicles, theatrical plays -, to identify the traces of the astrological symbolism throughout his literary production and the points of contact with Triângulo das águas, in order to disclose new meanings. On top of that, from depositions and interviews of the writer, it emphasizes the use of Astrology as an intentional procedure in his process of creation. When tracing a brief revision of the critics about the author, with emphasis in the specialized critic, historiography and of academic background, is confirmed the originality of the undertaken approach in this work. As a theoretical reference was used specific bibliography related to the Astrology area, complemented with related works of Mythology, Symbol, the History of Religions and the Imaginary.

Marketing turístico e violência contra as mulheres : (des)(re)construções do Brasil como paraíso de mulatas

Esta dissertação versa sobre o imaginário social do Brasil como um paraíso de mulatas. Inicialmente busca-se analisar como esse imaginário foi construído historicamente. Em seguida analisa-se as tentativas de desconstrução desse imaginário. Por fim, foca-se nos discursos turísticos atuais, para perceber se eles estão reconstruindo ou desconstruíndo esse imaginário. Essa análise é realizada através de um arque-genealogia, inspirada em Michel Foucault, na qual são mapeados discursos intelectuais, literários, políticos, artísticos, midiáticos e, principalmente, turísticos, dos séculos XIX, XX e XXI. Entende-se que esse imaginário está imerso em relações de poder e articula construções e disputas em torno da identidade nacional, racial, de gênero e sexualidade. Esse imaginário, muitas vezes, configura-se como violência contra as mulheres negras, quando as aprisiona em uma hiper-erotização, quando as conduz aos maiores números no turismo sexual, quando silencia suas reivindicações de outra definição identitária. / This dissertation focuses on the social imaginary of Brazil as a paradise of the "mulatas". Initially we seek to examine how this imagery was built historically. It then analyzes whether attempts to deconstruct this imagery. And finally, focuses on current tourism discourse, to see if they are rebuilding or deconstructed this imagery. This analysis is performed through an archi-genealogy, inspired by Michel Foucault, which are mapped in intellectual discourses, literary, political, artistic, media and, especially, tourism, dating from the XIX, XX and XXI. It is understood that this imagery is immersed in power relations and articulates disputes over national identity, race, gender and sexuality. This imagery often are one violence against black woman, when this imprisons her in the hyper-sexualization, when this lead her to greater numbers in sex tourism, when this silencing another definition of identity.

Le végétal donneur d'ambiances : jardiner les abords de l'habitat en ville. / Vegetation as an ambience : gardening the urban housing surroundings

Qu'est-ce qui pousse les citadins à jardiner, dans des contextes souvent peu favorables, les abords de leur logement ? Guidé par cette question, notre travail se focalise sur les pratiques habitantes du jardin privé de type balcon, loggia, terrasse et pied d'immeuble. Parmi les nombreux travaux consacrés à l'étude des modes d'habiter urbains, peu se sont jusque-là spécifiquement intéressés au rôle du "petit" jardin. Comment ce petit jardin – et en particulier son jardinage - permet-il à la fois de se ménager un chez-soi et de cohabiter avec ses voisins ? C'est cette problématique que nous avons explorée en inscrivant notre travail dans le champ des ambiances architecturales et urbaines, c'est-à-dire en faisant de l'environnement sensible une clé de lecture privilégiée des pratiques habitantes jardinières. Notre enquête a porté sur quinze ensembles de logements grenoblois et parisiens situés en milieu urbain dense. Sur une période de quatre ans, elle s'est déployée autour du recueil de la parole habitante, couplée à des observations ethnographiques. Adoptant une approche pluridisciplinaire qui croise les dimensions spatiales, horticoles, sociales et sensibles du jardin, l'analyse s'attache à élaborer une typologie de configurations de jardins à partir de quatre critères : la morphologie (horticole et paysagère) des jardins, leur imaginaire, les perceptions sensibles et les tactiques habitantes dont ils sont le support. Cette typologie propose une rhétorique jardinière explicitant les formes de liens et de ruptures que les habitants créent entre eux et leurs voisins, entre leur logement et leur jardin, entre leur jardin et le voisinage et entre leur jardin et la ville. Elle intéresse directement la programmation et la conception des abords de l'habitat en questionnant les manières de composer le jardin et ses articulations au logement, d'agencer les logements entre eux et de penser le rapport du logement à la ville par le biais du jardin. Deux expériences pédagogiques réalisées à la fin de la recherche rendent compte de ce potentiel. Plus largement, cette recherche ouvre vers l'hypothèse selon laquelle les enjeux de l'habiter urbain se situeraient à la lisière jardinée entre un chez-soi (qu'il soit privé ou public) et la ville. / What encourages city dwellers to garden their housing surroundings often located in unfavourable contexts? Following this question, this research focuses on the residents' practices in private gardens such as balcony, loggia, terrace and ground garden. Among the numerous works about the different types of urban dwellings, few of them interest in the role of small gardens. How do small gardens -and its gardening- allow handling carefully a home and help living together among neighbours? This research question is tackled through the field of urban and architectural ambiences, in which the sensory environment is considered a key element in reading residents' gardening practices. For elaborating this work, we conducted a survey on fifteen dwellings, located in high-density urban context in two different French cities: Grenoble and Paris. During four years, we realised semi-directive interviews in addition to ethnographic observations in sixty households. We analysed the collected data through a pluridisciplinary approach that crosses spatial, horticultural, social and sensory dimensions of gardening. This approach aims at designing a typology -gathering configurations of gardens- based on four criteria: gardens' morphology, its imaginary, sensory perception and residents' tactics. This typology proposes a rhetoric gardening that explores the different links and ruptures that residents create between them and their neighbours, their housing and their garden, their garden and the neighborhood and finally between the garden and the city. This work deals directly with the housing surroundings briefing and design by reappraising how gardens are composed and linked to the housing, how housings are organized with each other, while examining at the same time the way that gardens link together housing projects to the city. Two educational experiences have been realised in two French schools of architecture at the end of this research in order to test the design potentials of our typology. In a wider sense, we theorize that the urban dwelling issues are anchored in a gardening edge between a home (set on a private or public space) and the city.

Esta dissertação investiga a representação do espaço urbano nas comédias de Qorpo-Santo através da teoria do imaginário social. O autor, que escreveu sua obra no Rio Grande do Sul do século XIX, desenvolveu uma visão singular da sociedade, com a utilização de símbolos que caracterizam o ambiente citadino. Este estudo pretende demonstrar como a representação simbólica presente em sua obra promove rupturas no imaginário da literatura romântica, predominante no gosto da época, instaurando uma nova forma de representação do grupo social. It s a discussion that involves different subjects, like Literature, History and Sociology, and that s inserted in the context of studies about regional culture.

The privileged instrument of research was the autobiographical narratives of fifteen women who, in Para?ba, had participated of the electoral processes and the life partisan politics in the period from 1998 to 2008, in the state and federal scopes. This permitted us to search the dimension of their lived expericence, to understand the trajectories and the processes of autonomation of the women, in the politics. Moreover, a quantitative mapping of the feminine presence in the processes was made electoral politicians in a wider context. In a similar way, two surveys had been carried throughout the research, among others aspects, to understand that image voters and politicians they construct concerning the feminine participation in this field. These instruments were important not to lose of all the social view where these lives were developed, the places from which these women speak and locate and the social meanings originated from this participation. The research aimed to establish dialogues between knowing and fields of discipline, beyond the dichotomy of actor/structure, preventing generalizations that ignore the plurality of the individuals, to reveal some aspects of the complex and contradictory processes that involve their participation in the political field. At last, it is tried to show that, although the frequent accusations of autonomy lack, when establishing relations in the public space, the women, as all subjects, can reflect about themselves, the motives of their thoughts and their actions escaping from the servitude of the repetition and avoid being only product of the institution that formed them (CASTORIADIS, 1992, p.140-141) / A proposta desse estudo foi trabalhar com mulheres na pol?tica, privilegiando suas trajet?rias, biografias e falas, para captar os sentidos dados por elas mesmas ? sua inser??o no campo pol?tico. O instrumento de pesquisa privilegiado foram as narrativas autobiogr?ficas de quinze mulheres que, na Para?ba, participaram dos processos eleitorais e da vida pol?tica partid?ria, no per?odo de 1998 a 2008, nos ?mbitos estadual e federal, o que permitiu buscar a dimens?o do vivido, entender as trajet?rias e os processos de autonomiza??o das mulheres, na pol?tica. Al?m disso, foi feito um mapeamento quantitativo da presen?a feminina nos processos pol?ticos eleitorais num contexto mais amplo. Do mesmo modo, foram realizados dois levantamentos que buscaram, entre outros aspectos, entender que imagem eleitoras e pol?ticos constroem acerca da participa??o feminina nesse campo. Esses instrumentos foram importantes para n?o perder de vista o todo social onde essas vidas se desenvolvem, os lugares a partir dos quais essas mulheres falam e se posicionam e os significados sociais advindos dessa participa??o. Procurou-se estabelecer di?logos entre saberes e campos disciplinares, para al?m da dicotomia ator/estrutura, evitando generaliza??es que ignoram a pluralidade dos indiv?duos, para revelar, alguns aspectos dos complexos e contradit?rios processos que envolvem sua participa??o no campo pol?tico. Enfim, tenta-se mostrar que, apesar das freq?entes acusa??es de falta de autonomia, ao estabelecerem rela??es no espa?o p?blico, as mulheres, como todo sujeito, podem refletir sobre si mesmas, as raz?es de seus pensamentos e motivos de seus atos , escapando da servid?o da repeti??o e deixando de serem apenas produtos da institui??o que as formou (CASTORIADIS, 1992, p.140-141)
