Hagström, Andreas January 2019 (has links)
Since the internet breakthrough in the nineties, the importance of digital technology has increased for organizations, and industries in Sweden. Digital technology allows for more efficient ways of learning. This means that practitioners must change the way they work to be able to integrate technology to exploit the advantages of the new tools. But sometimes the problem occurs that the technology gets developed without the input of the to-be users. This can harm the potential efficiency of the technology being implemented in an organization, or company. This study looks at digital technology in schools and tries to find out which features teachers wants to see in a program developed to create value in their practice. From interviews with teachers that teach math in grades 1-3 have I created a list of recommendations that a company or organization should consider when developing software for this target audience. These recommendations will consider aspects of organizational limitations and opportunities of schools; the aspects from what functionality should be in said services, and how to develop services around current practice of teachers.

Utveckling av e-tjänster i kommunal samverkan

Molin, Linda, Rydell, Johanna January 2019 (has links)
This study investigate a Collaboration between municipalities that cooperate to develop e-services. One larger municipality helps the smaller municipalities by providing them with fully developed e-services, help maintain a technical platform, support and materials in order for them to be able to drive their own process of change. The object of this study is to contribute knowledge that can form the basis for potential improvements of the Collaboration of e-services. The aim of the study is to find out what the reason is that some participating municipalities have launched several e-services while others none? How they experience the development of e-services that are conducted in Collaboration, and what challenges they experience in the development work? To collect empirical data we did qualitative interviews with both participating municipalities and with informants central in this Collaboration. We have had access to documents, their contract, and their planning tool that includes videos, manuals, and templates. The result of this study identifies a number of crucial points that need to be taken into account in continued Collaboration. These are: You cannot measure success with number of launched e-services: There are lack of “change management”: How homogeneity can help in the long run: and that Process mapping is the next step to take for the smaller municipalities. The study's result also show the challenges that may appear along the way towards more efficient, attractive and competitive county. For the participating municipalities these are time constraints, difficulty in prioritizing among other tasks, resistance from administrations and administrators, how they organize themselves internally on their own. The results also show that all participants wants this, and that several of them are working in a way that may pay off in the long run.

När äldre vuxna möter ny teknik : En kvalitativ undersökning kring digitalisering och digitalatjänster bland äldre vuxna

Bergsten, Victor, Franzén, Gabriel January 2016 (has links)
The survey has been conducted about how older adults use digital services on the Internet, what their thoughts are about them and the problems that can arise during use. The purpose of the survey is to treat the qualitative data to see what factors affect older adults to use various digital services to operate in society. This purpose has arisen from the problem which older adults are the smallest but fastest growing user group to take advantage of digital opportunities, today's society more or less requires that you have some sort of digital knowledge to be able to benefit from its services. Based on the objective, we have formulated our research question "Older adults are the fastest growing group of digital users, but in total still the lowest represented user group. What contributes to the rapid rise and what can we learn from the users of today on how to develop digital services for this age group in the future?" We chose to write about this project because we think that the subject is relevant and interesting to explore. Since one can see the obvious problems regarding this in everyday life, we chose to more deeply explore the area to give us a broader view. We have used qualitative methods like observations and semistructured interviews, these have been applied from prior knowledge of how to perform these methods to enable a good data collection. We have also created our own modified model based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) used to measure technology acceptance. The modified model is applied to the information we developed from them qualitative methods. The results from four informants indicate that there are critical factors that influence the use of digital services such as experience and needs, but these factors are individual and varies from person to person resulting in that there is not a single answer to the question but must be answered for each individual service.

Lekanovic, Nemanja, Zubic, Ilma January 2020 (has links)
More and more community services are being digitized and people must adapt to society's digital development. This is a case study in purpose to investigate how Skånetrafiken works to counter digital exclusion, while at the same time trying to increase understanding of the concept digital exclusion. The theory used in this study was derived from literature on digital exclusion. It is based on Jan Van Dijk's research on digital exclusion, where the theory aims to explain the different levels of digital exclusion. The case is based on a qualitative interview study where five interviews have been conducted with employees from Skånetrafiken. Based on this, several factors have been identified in Skånetrafiken's working methods that promote digital inclusion. Furthermore, a theoretical contribution has been developed for how organizations should work to counter digital exclusion. The theoretical contribution is a result derived from the conceptual framework and the study of Skånetrafiken.

Autonoma och elektrifierade lastbilstransporter : Hållbara transportlösningar genom framtidsscenarier / Autonomous and electrified freight trucks : Sustainable transport solutions through future scenarios

Östling, Felicia, Blomkvist, Alva January 2023 (has links)
The aim of the thesis was to deepen the knowledge of sustainability aspects in the field of transportation for the ongoing digital development of autonomous and electrical freight trucks toward the year 2030 in the Swedish context. To achieve the above aim, three objectives were formulated. The first objective was to identify critical factors for the envisioned digital and electrical development, the second objective was to create and design three future scenarios for the year 2030, and the final objective was to apply the scenarios to several stakeholders. The critical factors were identified via the analysis of conducted interviews with several stakeholders. Based on these findings, three scenarios were created, which then were evaluated by several focusgroup interviews and ordinary interviews conducted with additional relevant stakeholders. In the evaluation, radar charts were used to clarify the stakeholders’ views and to assess different factors within each and every scenario. The factors that were evaluated with the radar charts were the drivers' situation, cooperation, investments, competitiveness, capacity, and energy consumption. The obtained results show that all three sustainability aspects have a significant impact on the future and envisioned development of the transportation industry. The outcomes of these objectives were then synthesized into relevant aspects and some formulated recommendations focusing on their role and relevance from a sustainability perspective. The list of recommendations is addressed to Trafikverket, providing the authority with future directions for advancing the ongoing development of autonomous and electric freight trucks. To conclude, the results from the thesis can assist stakeholders to increase sustainability and public welfare in the further development of autonomous and electric freight trucks in Sweden.

Viktor, Glemne, Josef, Al-Khuzaie January 2022 (has links)
The digital transformation that undergoes changes in many parts of society has not been asprocessed in the energy industry at the same degree. The energy industry is facing majorchanges with the goal of being fossil-free by 2040. The purpose of the study was to investigatehow a municipal energy company works with digitization for a market-driven energy supplyanalyzed through service-dominant logic. The theoretical framework of the study is based ondigital transformation which then narrows down to the service dominant logic. The study isconducted based on qualitative research through semi-structured interviews of an energy utilitycompany and an IT consulting firm. The research provides insights into a service-dominantperspective for the energy industry in enabling new ways to approach their customers. Theresult makes it clear how the energy company works with digitalization, but that customerinvolvement is not there. An increased digitalization and servitization in the energy sectorfacilitate new creative solutions for the industry's customers, where decentralized anddemocratized governance are made possible.

Användarmedverkan vid utveckling av digitala tjänster : En kvalitativ studie på fem statliga förvaltningsmyndigheter / User-participation when developing public e-services : A qualitative study on five government agencies

Makhoul, Kristina January 2021 (has links)
The aim of this study has been to examine government agencies’ user participation of citizens, when developing public e-services. In previous research papers, the aim of the studies have been to examine municipalities and their involvement of users in the development of public e-services. The studies show that the officials have a negative attitude towards the development of services and consequently, being negative towards involving the user in the process. The reason for this being, a time-consuming work that has no financial benefits and the employees not having enough knowledge to work with the user. However, those studies are many years old and in need of an update. Moreover, researchers’ aim has previously been municipalities, and therefore the focus is now shifting to higher grounds, namely state agencies. This study is based on a qualitative method with an abductive approach, where semi-structured interviews have been conducted with nine government employees, possessing roles such as business developers and UX-designers, from five different government agencies: The Swedish Public Employment Service, The Swedish Board of Student Finance, The Swedish Tax Agency, The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth, and The Swedish Transport Agency. The results show that user participation is managed, although to a certain extent. The agencies have a more positive attitude to the involvement of users, compared to the municipalities, and there is a wish to include the user even more. The challenges that affect to what degree the user is involved, are lack of resources, such as budgets and lack of employee-competence. The most recurring challenge however, is time, where legal reforms from the government cause short deadlines, of which the agencies are forced to drop the user-based work and focus on implementing the new laws. The study increases the understanding of the agencies’ work and contributes to future research, in hopes of increasing the knowledge and learning ways to deal with the challenges the employees are faced with when developing public e-services.
