This thesis is focused on choral traditions in the city of Karlovy Vary. It maps music and social life in the city from the 19th century to the present, including some of the major personalities in music. It also concentrates on all the important choir bodies that were or still are active and which were important for the cultural life of the city. Emphasis is placed primarily on the Karlovy Vary Choir, the longest-performing choir in the city, including all choirmasters who participated in the running and artistic leadership of the choir. Memories of the oldest members of the choir, emeritus or still active, are also incorporated. At the end of the thesis, the repertoire of the choir and the pictorial attachment are presented.

I projektet Lesbisk Litteratur har jag undersökt lesbiskhet, materialitet, pyssel och grafisk form – som innehåll, metod och rumslig gestaltning. Syftet med projektet har varit att genom hand och tanke lära mig bokformgivning – omslag, inlaga och sättning, utforska tekniker och material genom grafisk form samt att läsa, lära och sätta mig in i ny kunskap om detta och praktiskt överföra det till ett fysiskt undersökande. Projektet har materialiserats i och tagit formen av en bok och flera bokomslag, ett bokförlag, ett mobilt kontor och utställningsyta, möbler och diverse bokparafernalier, till exempel ett girdle book belt och bokmärken.

C.G. Jung och Leo Perdue om Jobs bok : En jämförande receptionsstudieJohansson, Marie January 2020 (has links)
This study in Old Testament exegesis is focused on two interpretations of three central passages in the book of Job, by C.G. Jung in Answer to Job (1952) and Leo Perdue in Wisdom in Revolt – Metaphorical Theology in the Book of Job (1991). The study examines the questions addressed to the book of Job by Jung and Perdue respectively, and the expectations that are imbedded in their readings. The concepts of "horizon of expectation" and "gaps" from Reception theory are central to the interpretation. More particularly, the study examines the interpretations by Jung and Perdue of two passages in the book of Job where there is a verbal confrontation between Job and God, and the very last sequence of the book, the epilogue. These scenes also represent what W. Iser calls "gaps" (Leerstellen) in the narration, ambiguous passages, designed to activate the reader’s participation in the interpretation of a text. In the study, the horizon of expectations of Jung and Perdue respectively, is outlined and compared. The results show that, while the theologian Perdue is interested in the psychological aspects of Job’s process in relation to God, Jung, the psychologist, paradoxically is focused on the theological question of God’s character and being. The study’s point of outlook is that in each interpretation of a text, the reader’s horizon of expectation is embedded. When it comes to Bible commentary, layers of historical contexts and theological tradition shape the interpretative work. Nevertheless, each reader also confronts the text anew while reading, within the frames of his own experiences and expectations.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur professionella lärare resonerar kring användningen av digitala verktyg för att utveckla läsintresset och att avgöra hur användbara digitala boktjänster är för att utveckla läsfärdigheter. Intervjuer med åtta lärare genomfördes för att samla in kvalitativa data. Resultaten visade att användning av digitala verktyg för utveckling av läsning är positivt eftersom läsning bedömdes ge ökad motivation, dock är det viktigt att ha nödvändig kunskap för korrekt användning av dessa verktyg. Enbart användningen av digital läsning räcker inte för att utveckla elevernas läsförmåga. Slutsatsen är att eleverna behöver läsa både analogt och på en skärm och att användningen av iPads är ett hjälpmedel som anpassas efter elevernas behov.

Syftet med denna studie är att jämföra C.S. Lewis bok Kung Caspian och skeppet Gryningen och filmen med samma namn för att se vilka skillnader och likheter som finns mellan båda medierna. En narrativ analys och en komparativ analys har genomförts. Fyra frågeställningar har varit underlag för analysen, vilka är:• Vad har förändrats, lagts till eller tagits bort vid filmatiseringen av boken som är mest uppenbart?• Vilka skillnader och likheter finns mellan karaktärerna i bok och film?• Vilka skillnader och likheter finns mellan tre utvalda scener i bok och film?• Hur påverkar förändringarna berättelsens tematik?Resultaten visar att den mest uppenbara skillnaden mellan de olika medierna är att bokens huvudsyfte är att finna de sju försvunna riddarna medan filmen har vinklat det till att finna de sju svärden som tillhört riddarna. Karaktärernas framställning liknar varandra med en liten avvikelse på Lucy och Ripipip och att de tre scenerna utspelar sig i olika ordning jämfört med boken. Berättelsens tema är dock detsamma i både boken och filmatiseringen. I undervisningssyfte är både boken och filmen användbara i undervisningen för årskurs 4-6 i det svenska språket. / The aim of this study is to compare C.S. Lewis's book Voyage of the Dark treader and the movie with the same name to see what differences and similarities there is between both medias. A narrative analysis and a comparative analysis have been implemented. Four issues have been the basis for the analysis, which are:• What has been the most obvious change when filming the book?• What are the differences and similarities between the characters in the book and the movie?• What differences and similarities exist between three selected scenes in the book and in the movie?• How do the changes affect the story's theme?The results show that the most obvious difference between the various media is that the main purpose of the book is to find the seven lost knights while the movie has angled it to find the seven swords that belonged to the knights. The characters' portrayal is similar to each other with a slight divergency from Lucy and Ripipip and the three scenes take place in different order compared to the book. However, the theme of the story is the same in both the book and the movie. For educational purposes, both the book and the movie are useful in teaching in the school subject Swedish for grades 4-6.
