1	Den kvinnliga blicken och åtrån i fokus. En kvalitativ studie som belyser hur filmerna Carol och Portrait of a Lady on Fire ses utifrån ”blickens glasögon”. Sjöstedt, Isabella January 2020 (has links) Syftet med denna studie har varit att belysa representation av lesbisk åtrå i film. Filmerna jag har tittat på är Carol och Portrait of a Lady on Fire, där jag undersökt huruvida begreppen the male gaze och the female gaze visar sig i filmerna. Detta är gjort genom en filmanalys där jag har utvecklat en tes, delat upp filmen i segment samt antecknat filmtekniker. I min analys har jag utgått från teorier om blick; gaze theory, the male gaze och the female gaze. I båda filmerna representeras åtrå främst genom blicken, men även genom olika symboler, språk och behov. Den skildras inte nödvändigtvis genom nakenhet eller sex – utan kan vara ett grepp på axeln eller en intensiv blick. Genom välarbetat manus, kameravinklar utifrån bådas synpunkter och kostymer som inte förminskar kvinnan tar båda filmerna avstånd från the male gaze. Istället har båda parterna i förhållandet en aktiv roll där kommunikation och samtycke styr, vilket är i linje med the female gaze. / The purpose of this study has been to highlight the representation of lesbian desire in film. The films I have watched are Carol and Portrait of a Lady on Fire, where I investigated whether the concepts of the male gaze and the female gaze appear in the films, and if so, how. I have conducted a filmanalysis where I developed a thesis, segmented the films and took notes of film techniques. I have based my analysis on different theories concerning the gaze; gaze theory, the male gaze and the female gaze. Both films represent desire throughout the gaze, but also through different symbols, languages and needs. It is not necessarily portrayed by nudity or sex – instead by grasping the shoulder or holding an intense gaze. Through well-crafted script, camera angles based on both viewpoints and costumes that do not diminish the woman, both films distance themselves from the male gaze. 2	Fragment av en gammal själ : En konstruktion av Sarah Coakleys själsbegrepp Backlund, Viktor January 2020 (has links) This essay explores the concept of soul in the theology of Sarah Coakley. This is done by analyzing the ideas in Coakleys work descriptively. The notion of soul has been found to have a close connection to two of Coakleys main ideas, those of desire and asceticism. From these ideas I have tried to add a concept of soul to Coakleys theological work. The notion of the soul has its basis in the material body and its desires. Coakley understands the desires of the body as both sexual desire and desire for God. In her theology desire can be understood as a metaphor for the soul´s longing for God. From the desires of the material body this essay have shown that one can design a concept of soul in Coakleys theology. I argue that you can understand Coakleys theology better theoretically by engaging a concept of soul instead of just focusing on contemplative prayer as a way of reaching God and do academic theology. With a concept of soul in Coakleys theology it can work regardless of confession or religious practice and it makes the academic theology possible without depending on contemplation. 3	Dr. Eleine Mad Jacobsson, Madeleine January 2021 (has links) Dr. Eleine Mad är Madeleine Jacobsssons talesperson för dom vetenskapliga och paranormala upptäckter som uppstår i hennes världar. Hon beskriver innehåll, teknik och estetik utifrån ett kategoriseringssytem där konsten delas upp som olika typer av komponenter och därefter avkodas dessa allteftersom. För att förstå intuitionens inblandning i arbetsprocessen omförvandlas den till tre separata roller av en Sökare, Samlare och Myntare. Med rollerna försöker jag beskriva på vilka sätt som intuitionen är till gagn eller av förödelse för det konstnärliga arbetet. Sagan om M handlar om en grodlik karaktär, Delop, som lämnar sin hemplanet för att uppsöka andra världar. I sitt sökande hittar Delop ett folkslag vars syn och levnadssätt skiljer sig från hennes erfarenheter av “verkligheten” såsom hon lärt sig att överleva i den. / Dr. Eleine Mad is Madeleine Jacobsson's spokesperson for the scientific and paranormal discoveries that arise in her worlds. She describes content, tecniques and aesthetics based on a categorization system where art is divided into different types of components and then decoded as they go. To understand the intuition's involvement in the work process, it is transformed into three separate roles by a Seeker, Collector and a Myntare(In swedish language the one who is a "myntare" -is verbally declaring a concept or term). With these roles I try to describe in what ways intuition is beneficial or devastating to the artistic work. The story of M is about a frog-like character, Delop, who leaves the home planet to seek out other worlds.
