This subject is not considered as the product of a biological causality, but in its totality, as it is, in L. S. Vygotsky's (1896-1934) conception. This perspective allows an educational practice that contributes to the appropriation of culture by people, with or without disabilities, that is, of the systematized knowledge offered in the school. Other authors were invited to the debate, contributing to ratify the possibility of a teaching for all, without restrictions or additions to this or that social group. Through contact with the Municipal Department of Education and the schools of the municipal public network, 43 students with ASD enrolled in the initial years of Elementary School I, were found. For the field research, the teachers of the schools with the highest number of students were interviewed individually, with a total of 31 participants, corresponding to the 16 Teachers of Pedagogical Support (TPS) and the 15 teachers who attend these students in regular classes of teaching. The objective was to investigate how these teachers conceptualize the ASD and to reflect on the pedagogical process involving these students, contributing to deepen questions to be worked on teacher training. The analysis of the researches involving the students' learning process with ASD, developed between 2006-2016, in the Scielo and BDTD databases, is presented, synthesizing and classifying them according to their epistemological roots. Most of them are based on the behaviorist approach (22), three of them from the perspective of historical-cultural theory and one from the Piagetian perspective. We also present a brief synthesis of the conceptions of learning in these psychological currents, reaffirming the educational commitment backed by cultural historical theory. Posteriorly, the concept of ASD is presented and the conceptions of development and learning are taken from the perspective of historical-cultural psychology, which is used to analyze the data collected using Content Analysis (BARDIN, 2011). It was found that about 70% of the main teachers and 33% of the TPS´s teachers present difficulties in understanding the ASD, what hinders them from identifying the limits and the learning possibilities of these students. It is important that the teaching process enables students with and without ASD to appropriate scientific knowledge. To achieve this goal, among other demands, students need to be truly "seen". Otherwise, there is a risk of not meeting their educational needs, generating gaps in the schooling process due to the absence of adequate methodologies for the student to appropriate scientific knowledge for which the school is responsible.

Roos, EwaMaria January 2017 (has links)
Shame and nonverbal communication in learning processes Shame, dishonour, disgrace. However described, it is often paralysing and diminishing. It is crippling and destructive. But is it possible to develop through shame? This research paper takes an interdisciplinary look at this subject. As an aesthetic voice and speech pedagogue I have observed how shame has affected communication between my students and myself in situations where shame could and/or has occurred. One particular vocational event invoked a powerful sense of shame within me and launched a process which led to the investigation of two pedagogical situations where I detected and prevented shame in the learning process. These situations revealed that communication beyond words were crucial for the learning process to continue in a constructive manner. The purpose of this study is to explore the importance of nonverbal communication, the wordless cues of paralanguage, in body language and voice in the learning process, increasing the awareness of the students and pedagogues to this type of communication. In this quest for a shame free workspace, I found that changes in my pedagogy had the ability to prevent shame for both my students and myself, whilst doing so shaping an improved learning environment. A phenomenological approach by way of Nathanson, Cullberg Weston, Dreyfus & Dreyfus along with an understanding of the different mechanisms of shame and its influence on nonverbal interaction has led to the realisation of the preventive measures that can be taken to avoid shame and guilt in learning situations. It is possible to develop through shame, it enabled a change within myself as a pedagogue.

Att inkludera estetiska lärprocesser i svenskundervisning : Möjligheter och utmaningar ur lärares perspektiv / To Include Aesthetic Learning Processes in Swedish Teaching : Opportunities and Challenges from Teachers´Perspective

Fagerberg, Martha January 2021 (has links)
The aim of this study is to deepen the knowledge about teachers’ attitudes towards aesthetic learning processes and how they, based on their perception of opportunities and obstacles, chose to include aesthetic elements in Swedish teaching.  The study focused on the teachers’ perceptions, which means that the analysis of collected data material has a phenomenographic approach. Semi-structured interviews were used as a method to collect material. Eight active Swedish teachers working in grades 4-6 chose to participate in the study. They participated in individual digital interviews.  The teachers in this study were positive about working with aesthetic learning processes, as it was seen as engaging and knowledge-enhancing for the students. However, the teachers’ own attitudes towards working aesthetically differed between the teachers. Some expressed that they enjoyed working aesthetically, while others felt greater uncertainty and ignorance within certain aesthetic forms of expression. Uncertainty was seen as an obstacle. Other perceived challenges were lack of time, lack of resources, assessment difficulties and that aesthetic activities were not prioritized. The result showed that the teachers would like increased access to resources and requested competence development in the area. The result revealed a connection between teachers’ knowledge of, interest in and application of aesthetic learning processes.

Wendt, Josephine, Sandberg Magnusson, Gustav January 2024 (has links)
The purpose of the study is to investigate and create an understanding of the processes by which leaders learn to be leaders. The study also aims to examine what the leaders have learned and how these learning processes have occurred in the leaders' everyday lives. Nine semi-structured interviews were conducted with established leaders in various industries. A thematic analysis depicted how experiences through actions in everyday life together with reflection were the main processes considered decisive for how the leaders learned to be leaders. In addition, conditions such as the will to lead and the will to learn have played a central role. The result showed that abilities that the study interprets as softer values have developed over time in the leaders. The leaders indicate that personal maturity, experience, reflection and a willingness to learn contributed to their learning and development.

Berättandets möjligheter : Multimodala berättelser och estetiska lärprocesser / Opportunities of storytelling : Multimodal narratives and learning processes involving text, art and drama

Andersson, Märtha January 2014 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to investigate meaning-making in pupils' multimodal narratives that have emerged in aesthetic learning processes. To, with the support of ethnographic methods and theories of narrative and multimodality, study the resources and strategies used by the pupils. The study also examines how teachers and educators make use of aesthetic learning processes and multimodal narrative in practice-based reality. The empirical material is based on four cultural and narrator projects that have been conducted in a collaboration between nine-year compulsory schools and Kulturskolan (School of Culture) in a municipality in northern Sweden. The projects included pupils from the preschool level up to and including 5th grade in the compulsory school level. These projects were monitored for a total of three semesters. The pervading goal in all projects was to stimulate language development and language use with the help of imagination and creativity, where the pupils' own creation was the key focus. The empirical material consists of observations, log book entries and interviews with teachers, educators and pupils, as well as the pupils' own pictures and texts. The results show that the pupils exemplify from the fictional world. Although they do not directly say that they draw inspiration from computer, television and film media, this is made visible in and embodies their narratives. The pupils' multimodal narratives show that they create meaning by mixing fiction with a world recognisable to them, where fictional characters live a life that they can identify with. The meaning-making strategies that emerge in the pupils' narratives are: identification, gender stereotypes, humour, structures from the horror and fairy-tale genres and remediation. In the interviews with the teachers it is noted that the use of narrative has declined in teaching. Reasons cited include a lack of time and the stress of everyday life, as well as the individualisation which has led to a reduction in the collaboration between pupils and thus the use of narrative. The teachers, however, expressed great enthusiasm for providing pupils with the tools to develop different narrative forms, a way to create meaningful contexts for the pupils. Projekten följdes under sammanlagt tre terminer.

Werner, Petra January 2016 (has links)
This thesis investigates the aesthetic interpretation of learning processes in television produced and broadcast in Sweden between 1956 and 1969. The thesis explores how these programmes are linked to concepts of Bildung by their aesthetics, by which the intangible cultural heritage is entrusted in the form of oral and visual traditions, storytelling and games/play, where learning is the common denominator. The programmes are divided into three categories: aesthetics of attentiveness, aesthetics of tale/storytelling and aesthetics of play. The detailed, thick, descriptions of the programmes emanating from the close-readings shall be, together with the aesthetic categories that I have formulated and expressed in a model, regarded as the survey’s key findings. The starting point of the central theoretical model of the thesis is André Malraux’s idea of an imaginary museum of imagination in which photo reproductions can constitute a collective memory, and thus bepart of an intangible heritage. Based on this idea of an imaginary museum, I have constructed a conceptual model called a medial museum, valid in its own time as well as for posterity. The theoretical models that the study gain support from are characterized by phenomenological and hermeneutical perspectives, as I refer to  a phenomenological-hermeneutical method when analysing the programmes, and at the same time underline the phenomenological-hermeneutically based aesthetics in the analysed programmes, where aesthetic interpretation of learning processes in terms of attentiveness, tale and play is of a phenomenological-hermeneutic character. For a broad perspective on learning processes, theoretical support is acquired both from the German philosopher Hans-Georg Gadamer and his hermeneutic of traditions and from the French philosopher Jacques Rancière and his emancipatory ideas of pedagogy and aesthetics. Furthermore, the French philosopher Paul Ricœur and his thoughts on importance of storytelling for knowledge formation have had significant influence on the work. Regarding the concepts of play, I have made use of both Gadamer’s ideas of art experience as play and of Donald W. Winnicott’s theories about play as transitional area. In the programmes’ aesthetics is found a depiction of a broadened interpretation of Bildung, where processes of learning comprise a direct sensual perceiving, attentiveness, storytelling/tale and play. Moreover, within the programmes’ managing of an intangible cultural heritage, I have found an expression of an interplay between modernity and tradition, with emphasis on the historical significance of the present, and rooting in the past of everyday life, where expectation on the future and the memory of the past can co-exist. To summarise, the study suggests the possibility to understand aesthetics as an epistemology using sensuous experience as basis for a conceptual knowledge about how to understand the world. Thereby, one can comprehend aesthetics as pedagogy per se.

It aimed at developing a proposal for public managers? capacity building departing from their managerial learning capacity in order to develop their managerial competency to support a Professional Competencies Management System. Therefore, this research answered: How to develop managerial capacity dedicated to the HEFI real context considering managers emergent learning process at work? Five intermediate goals were also attained: (a) Characterizing the management learning activity in public service; (b) Elucidating the managers? perception about the required competencies for practicing their managerial role; (c) Identifying managerial competencies developed by managers in the exercise of managerial activity; (d) Identifying individual and collective learning processes embedded in managers work, (e) Setting up the managerial development activities. Empirical data collected among 19 managers of the HEFI, through semi-structured individual interviews, were qualitatively analyzed by means of hermeneutic interpretive inductive approach. Empirical results indicates that the managers learning process and managerial competency development occurred through: (a) Self-learning, (b) vicarious learning, c) self-experience, and by solving problems in a trial and error mode (d) Social and collective interactions (e) Formal education (f) Working practice deconstruction; g) Managers? life activities off work. To trigger the development of managerial competencies including the emerging managers learning processes at this HEFI, an institutionalized managerial development project is needed grounded in andragogy pedagogy, this is, specific for adult learning process based on public managers awareness enhancement about the importance of the various ways of learning in the working practice. For instance, encouraging vicarious learning through the presentation of other institutions cases and the collective identification of the required managerial competencies. The managerial development project structure should take into account the need to meet individual managers? development requirement as well as the constraints imposed by the collective election process for being a public manager at this HEFI. Developing managerial competencies should have as structure: a) Evaluation b) learning c) Analysis d) Practice e) Application. Managerial competencies development should follow a continuous learning at work approach, taking into account profile differences concerning the academic and technical managerial positions.

Hur äventyrspedagogik tillämpas på en Reggio Emilia-inspirerad förskola : Reggio Emilia-pedagogers tankar om äventyrspedagogik / How adventure education is being applied in a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool : Reggio Emilia educators thoughts of adventure education

Pettersson, Mikael, Palm, Sebastian January 2013 (has links)
The purpose of the independent work was to investigate the adventure pedagogy applied in a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool. By comparing these pedagogies can catch sight of the similarities and differences that justify the application's impact on children's learning processes. The survey received a practical point in a woodland setting on one of the pre-schools, where two preschool teachers had theoretical knowledge in adventure education and Reggio Emilia. Ten teachers and a parent participated as observers in the adventure. In addition to these two students attended from preschool teacher, Stockholm University, who is also the authors of this study. Their observations and interview responses from the two preschool teachers surveyed. The adventure took fifty-six year olds from five kindergartens within the unit. The design of the adventure consisted of seven stations with various team-building exercises where the challenges of the exercises had different difficulty levels. The children were challenged to explore and get their questions in an exciting environment with your whole body. It was revealed that the resources in terms of time for planning, parents, and educators around the adventures both as observers and that safety and security was required. The results of our study show that the application of adventure education with its view of sensuous interplay exercises with motor elements and with nature that support, enrich and complement förskolors work with children's learning processes and the Reggio Emilia approach to children's opportunities to learn and develop.

By the daily use of television newspaper information it was possible to teach-in-context and analyze what television newspaper information may offer to enlarge and make the pupils information be always up to date, regarding local, national and international context. It was also possible to identify and to describe how pupils have utilized those received informations, how they have related them to the subject they have learned in the school and, finally, how they have done to take all those informations to their families. As the research is considered a kind of ex-post-facto research, having a quality nature, we have considered as data source, those answers given by the pupils using questionnaires , with the objective of knowing both the child and his family habit regarding television use. By using both individual and group interviews it has been possible to analyze the project contribution to each one of the pupils and how they have used this experience given by the television newspaper information. Finally using their parent interview results it has been possible to analyze the results of this project in the family day. This subject is of great importance, because it enables the school context to become integrated to the local, national and international informations. It gives the pupils rise both to the research and the interest of getting informations and knowledge which may also be shared with the family, allowing them, both the pupils and their family, to improve their self-esteem each day. Using what Shulman, Shoenfeld, Aebli, Forquin, Freire, Piaget, have told about this subject I have analyzed the school practice of the television newspaper information project through two basic processes as follows: how the teachers learn the teaching-in-context process and the pupils knowledge construction. With this paper, the pupil, the family, the school, the community or the teacher will have better results because, as Piaget has told (2005 p. 15) that what we want to, is that the teacher stops being just a lecturer and makes the pupils be interested in doing research and making better efforts instead of being fulfilled of giving them ready solutions .
